inportant thing is Rodgeres is blending in very well and jelling in the offseason with his receivers, and the receivers have confidence in him,,and they obviously are closer to the situation then we are.

Yes eric, no doubt encouraging news from OTAs. I like Aaron very much. Will he be something special or more like his buddies Boller and Carr? We'll see--that's all I am saying. Carr could have benefitted from sitting (as opposed to on his rear--sacked) for 3 seasons. I thought he was a great talent but he has lost his confidence. I would not have minded him in green and gold, tutored by Clements and McCarthy.

I liked Carr also,to bad he got drafted by Houston who had no oline and he spent his career on his rear!THat man was inflicted by alot of hits in his short career. An oline can make or break a qb to a point, and i for one wont write off T Jackson in Minn as of yet,he just seems to be catching on slower then the Vikes fans would like him to,,and Aaron learned alot from Favre i hope, but you have to live it to learn it,so this year will be the year he really starts to learn! IF he can absorb more this year, then anyother year hes been in GB,then he will be well on his way.Im excited for Rodgers,he seems to be very intelligent,he understands what going on in the offense and what its tring to accomplish, so i hopoe he turns around the seemingly bad luck from Tedford tutored qb.s lately.i beleive ROdgers will be a very good qb for years to come and he has the fortune of having some good receivers like Driver,Jennings, hopefully James Jones as he was good in the beginning of the year and seemed to disappear abit in the 2nd half,( like Jennings did his rookie year and look how he turned out) and R. Martin proved to be a pretty good receiver as well,,,and Donald Lee turned the corner and started to play closer to his potential like thecoaches thought he would. Now if Jamichael Finley can step it up and have a decent rookie season and contribute, that would make life alot easier as well.......Im looking forward to the battles this year,as the schedule looks like a beast and with Minn and Det. inproving its going to be a battle and fun this year in the NFC NORRIS div!!!( although its better then people give it credit for)

Much is made of TJacks athleticism & all, but nothing beats being trained to think like an offensive coordinator on the field. Check offs and looking for a hot read, etc. Jackson didn't have that, and I am not so sure that is instinct and overall football IQ (natural reaction to changes in game) is quite where it needs to be. Based on the speed of the game and the types of reads that you expect your QB to make, in the NFL a half of a second delay will kill you. On that basis, I think that GB has less to fret about than we do in Vikesville. In the absolute moments we needed QB mind making a QB decision in the heat of the game, he froze. That is an instinctual act. He doesn't read the entire field. It may be a problem in crunchtime for the purple.
