Your day is done so go back to pushing the broom, probably the only thing you can handle without hurting yourself.

The small window of opportunity just closed on gb.
Farve gave you that window, now he is relaxing in Mississippi.

We wrestled the NFC North title from you hicks without ever playing a game, which means you losers were replaced with winning Viking fans.

Farve knew that if gb didn't make it to the Super Bowl last year, it might be another couple decades before it happens again, and even he can't play when he's 58.

The quarterback controversy has already begun in cow country, and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

IT should be fun. The Packers get off to a good start,i think they will run in the 2nd half.Usually the Vikes are strong and fade at the end last year they won the last few games in a row. I think both of us and the Bears should keep the eye on Detroit,as theystarted out well and died at the end,and they have filled in some holes this off season and if they get consistant,it could be trouble for both of us.

Yeah, being a Viking fan in Bear Country can be awful painful at times. Even when they win, they cant seem to do it graciously or with anything resembling sportsmanship. Im not one to talk trash before the season is even played. We have our trash talkers on the Vikes forum, but you can usually tell its all in fun. There are also those that intentionally do it with venom and anger, dont know why. A football game isnt important enough to get me as pissed off as some people get. Unlike others, I will reserve judgement on A.Rodgers until I see him play a few games. I gotta admit he has some damn good receivers to throw to. Im hoping for improved ability from Tarvaris Jackson. But again, I will wait for the season to actually start. With the defensive additions the Vikings made, I do have very high expectations from them! Win or lose, Im looking forward to that first Monday nighter!!

I wouldn't be too afraid of Detroit this season. They filled some holes, yes, but they exposed some other ones. Their O-line is more or less the same O-line that gave up the most sacks, their WRs are good, but they have an unproven RB coming in to try and help the run game in a division of defenses that are typically solid against the run. Not only that, but their defense is falling apart. They lost their best LB, their huge run-stuffing DT, and picked up one of our reject safeties. The Lions will be the Lions, nothing to worry about.

Not once did you hear me say the Vikings are going to win the SuperBowl. If the sports analysts want to 'crown'(Denny - lol) us the Divisional Champs, so be it, that isn't my problem. I'm a Vikings fan through and through, but I'm realistic too.

Tavaris Jackson,,is a young kid,he might grow into a very good qb,he seems to have it,he just has to develop it...If the Vikes can keep AP healthy, that should help your or thier passing attack and like i said, theres no denying the Vikes ability to stop the run,,its the pass defense id worry about if i ewere a VIkes fan,but at least you took steps to inprove that with Allen a great pass rushing, sacking DE,so that should cut down the time corners have to cover. We will see.....i just have to see it first, before,,i can go with it.To many times the media has crowned Minn as the best in the div.and they have fallen short,so we will see and i too look forward to the season opener...I supect Rodgers will be abit fired up and nervous,,in his first NFL start,on Monday night football,,,on national TV,,the night Favre gets his number retired ect,,but hes a smartt kid and i think he will deal with it,,and end up being a good qb in the leaque before to long,,,he may struggle his first year like many qbs do,,but overall, he will do fine! and yes he does have a boat load of good reveivers to throw to..The Packers have to inporove against the pass abit as well,,need to inprove on the passs rusher, but the weakest was LB,,Poppinga cant cover TE at all,,and they signed Brandon Chillar from STL,who is much better pass coverage LB then Poppinga is,so that will help,as most or a good % of damage against the pass was inflicted by the opposnents TE spot except the glaring performance by Al Harris vs the Giants, but we picked up a corner in the 2ND ROUND that i hope wiull be ready to dethrown Harrris at that corner if need be or if he flat out outplays him...Season is coming faster then we think so enjoy!! and health will determine most of this we are talking about.

Face the facts queens fans our beloved Packers were, are, and always will be better. I feel for your frustation. It must be hard always rooting for your team at the beginning of the year only to have to sell all your tickets to Packer fans just to get your games on TV. Not to metion never being anything more than 1st Loser. The biggest
difference between the two teams, other than the Pack having better GM,Coach,Offense,Defense, Special Teams, Stadium, & Fans, is when I go to Lambeau Field there are World Champion Banners hanging all over the place, but on my one trip to the metrodump I noticed they only had division champion banners hanging. Who hangs those? Have fun going to LA in a couple of years to watch them play! You better get direct TV this year too, so you can watch them get pounded again by the PACK! 34-0 GO PACK!

Want to bet? I was stating the pounding your queens received last year 34-0, they may score a couple points this year, but the end result will be the same 2 losses! How about we bet the only time the queens won't have a black out is when they get stomped again by the Pack at home AGAIN. What is it 3 or 4 losses in a row now against the Green and Gold? It's bad luck to bet on your team maybe you should stop betting and save your money so you can support your team and buy some home game tickets so their games will get televised and maybe they won't move to LA. I pretty sad that there is more Green and Gold in the Metrodump then purple when the Pack is in town. Can you say 34-0 Losers!

Can you say congratulations for beating our third string QB? Wow, your team is really good. Please. If it was 34-0 against all our starters, fine, go ahead and brag, but you were up against Brooks Bollinger for Christ's sake. Stop beating your chest over it, it's no great accomplishment.

And I'm pretty sure your green and gold "faithful" are going to jump off the ship once they see how Rodgers plays. They probably weren't even GB fans so much as Favre fans. Favre who got outplayed by Eli Manning. Even Jackson played better than Eli.

you i completely forgot about jackson being injured and them putting bollinger in there. im glad you brought that up because that is a very good point and all these packer fans are raving about beating us 34-0 with our 3rd string qb in there. great point.

Hey digger, how about having a discussion about the present day teams? That is what we are discussing on this forum. Do you know anything about football at all? If so, you should be able to have a discussion about the present day and not bring up the past. The past is the past, both teams are different than last year, so come back when you can discuss that.

Oh and by the way, 1 title since '67 doesn't make you great. It actually pyuts you behind teams like the Patriots, Broncos, Cowboys and 49ers.

What excuses do have for the other loss at HOME? Your Starting QB stunk so bad they pulled him! Face the facts you ALL are the most fair weathered fans in the NFL. Like I said earlier your games don't sell out unless the Packers come to town! Can you say TV BLACKOUT OR HELLO L.A.

This is a fact the Pack fans seem to not remember. Both of the Pack/Vikes games last year our starter wasn't in there. Holcomb played in the first game at the Dome and Bollinger started the 2nd game. So they are bragging on beating backups, not starters. Typical of Pack fans, again showing they don't have any clue about the game of football.

Actually Digger, Holcomb started and finished that first game. Yes Holcomb, another backup not the starter. Also, there were only 3 games of 8 last year that risked being blacked out and those would be games against Atlanta(w/out Mike Vick), Oakland(nuff said) and I can't remember the third off hand, but it wasn't that great of a team. But none the less all the rest were sold out with no problem. As for the upcoming season, with the moves that have been made, I can gaurantee you there will be no worries of blackouts again. So again I say come back when you can talk about football and have some knowledge of the game.

That still puts us ahead of the queens, and until the season starts we can only go off of last year. You queens fans are always the same talk big before the season, the facts are the Pack has more talent, depth, and better coaching plus our qb is still BETTER. I mean come on the only team with worse qb's than the queens is the bears. The only thing going for the queens is AP, when he is not hurt. Although the Pack held him in check in both games. They have an overated, overhyped run defense, because every team lights up their sorry db's for 300+ yard and 3 td's a game. Why even bother running the ball when Sharper, and the other clowns can't cover. Have fun trying to deal with our WR's this year not to mention Grant, and the Pack defense is very, very, solid all the way around.

Ok, I guess it's your turn for a quick lesson before I leave for the weekend. You can talk about the present, such as the moves that both teams have made to improve their teams for this upcoming season. What is your basis for your qb being BETTER than ours? Let me guess, he was a first round draft pick, mentored by Favre and played good against Dallas last year. So let's see, our qb has more game time experience than yours(has also played against defenses who game planned for him), just because Rodgers was a first round pick doesn't make him better(see Ryan Leaf as an example) and finally the Dallas game was garbage, since Dallas game planned for Favre and had a big lead. And if he is so great why didn't he lead the team back to win?

All we have is AP? Really have you forgotten about Chester Taylor(over 800 yards last season and 1200 the season before). Let's see the Williams wall, E.J. Henderson(should have been to the pro bowl, Tomlinson said so himself), Winfield(one of the best cb's out there in terms of tackling), and oh yeah one of the best if not, the best run blocking offensive lines in the league. Now Allen will solidify our Pass defense and if you don't know, a good pass defense starts up front pressure on the qb.(if you don't know that see Monte Kiffin's comments) So as far as trying to stop your receivers this season, it just became a lot easier with the addition of the sack leader to our defensive line. I love how you guys rip on Sharper, but yet since he's left the Pack he's been in the top 5 in interceptions for the league each year, I guess you can say he lost a step or 2 right? LOL. And for Grant, let's see how he performs now that defenses don't have to worry about Brett Favre, can we say a reduction in yards coming, yes you can. Yes your defense is solid all the way around, I mean look what Eli and the rest of the Giants offense did to your defense, now that was solid. And yes that's the same offense that our Vikes shut down and caused a number of turnovers and scored a few td's during the regular season.

Come Digger your lack of football knowledge is amazing, and yet you still come on here and talk like you know something. Lesson over for now, I'll teach you more next week.

If the Packer's D is so solid, why did you lose the NFC championship game? Nice "solid" pass defense there with your corners, right? You lost Corey Williams now too, there goes some extra run-stuffing.

Speaking of the run, I would love for you to point out in which game you guys "contained" AP. Was it the first game where he ran against you for over 100 yards, likely even more if he hadn't gotten reduced carries in the second half, or was it in the second game when he was getting over 4 yards a carry before getting injured? If that's your idea of containment, then football as a whole should be thankful you aren't a defensive coach.

In regards to having the worst QB in the division aside from the Bears, let's see how Rodgers plays in a game he starts before you start crowning him, huh? Right now, Kitna is the best QB in the division. Rodgers isn't even close. And you may think he did well in the Dallas game, or maybe you're just spitting out what other people have said, but I don't know if you actually watched it or not.

Dallas started playing relaxed and sloppy as soon as Rodgers came out. His TD was the result of poor tackling on Dallas' part. Afterwards, they started to actually play, and you never saw Rodgers throw close to the goal line again.
