Richie Sexson charges mound in Mariners' loss to Texas

What a baby, it was just high, not anywhere near hitting him

It wasnt close to him but it was close enough. After he hit two batters in the game already and then a up and in fastball i guess it was enough for sexson to charge the mound. It was kind of funny though that he through his helmet at him right before he grabbed him.

It wasn't up and in, it was just up. He's a 6'8" wuss....

Ritchie is a Seattle chump....Freakin crybaby!! If that pitch which he took thrown at his head as intentional, had been 3 or 4 inches lower than from where it wound up, it would have been called a strike....I can't believe that Ritchie has the nerve to protest his 6-game suspension!!!

Sexson is not a wuss......that pitcher deserved it. The Ranger who got hit could have easily gotten out of the way, if fact he leaned into it. Sexson is one of the nicest guys in baseball, why would that jackass choose to throw at him? Richie had every right to charge the mound. If pitchers want to hit batters intentionally (or throw at their heads), then the batters should be able to kick their asses.

it was not close to his head, it was over the plate just high. He at the very least overreacted.

Richie Sexson is a moron, plain and simple!! If I had been the pitcher on the mound who'd thrown the pitch at Richie Sexson, he be charging at me with a knot on his head as I stand my ground ready to kick him in his balls sack!!
