A Win is a Win! Screw it!...I am tired of bashing this team and hearing the bashing...we are an ugly team and we win ugly...get used to it. I have no expectations of this team so I will no longer bash this team when it wins, it's just gets old. All bets are off when we lose though. We will not fire this coach till then end of the season so get on board or get hell off. Atleast we are getting the calls we never got and we are never giving up...it is a 4 qtr game...the one that has the most points at the end wins...period. I am just hoping that these comeback wins somehow spark this offense to start pulling their weight. This glass is half full ladies and gents. 1. We are tied for the division lead with a chance to take it outright next week against the Bears. 2. Our Conference Mark is 3-1. 3. The hardest part of the schedule is behind us. 4. All but two teams in the conference have two or three losses. 5. We hold two important tie breakers against Carolina and New Orleans This ain't gymnastics you Nancies...style points count for excrement. Go Vikings!!!

Well, it's a win. Are we incapable of running to the outside? Someone please enlighten me.

Don't mention that we got lucky on two horrible officiating calls. I feel bad for Lions fans, but I'll take the win

2 bright spots were petersons 100 yards and the win. If this team plays like this the rest of the year they wont win another game

I also do not want to bash this team anymore, I've been a Viking fan for a long time, and this is just awful how e are winning. After the season is oven I think Chris K should PUNT Chilly out of the state. Maybe then he;ll see that the punter is not the problem here. Anyway, a win is a win, and they don't look at how you got it. On to Chi-town next week.... We better have an A game ready!

I could hear the "FIRE CHILDRESS" shout in the 4th on the TV. How humiliating to need a gift from the refs to beat the lions. FIRE CHILI FIRE CILI FIRE CHILI this is what we get with an owner that doesn't know crap about football.

Someone please explain to me why we kicked extra point after our lone touchdown. Going for 1 made no sense. O, I forgot who our coach is. My mistake.

The refs gave us the game. But hey, I'll take it. The refs have taken a few away in the past as well. Also, I'm glad we won because it will keep the fall interesting. That said, Childress should be fired ASAP.

The Vikes got lucky, again, but who cares? I was ready to fire Chilly at halftime, but it won't happen after a win, so on we go. Peterson almost cost us the game, but I see he is harder on himself than anyone else. Player/s of the game: 1. Kevin Williams 2. Bernard Berrian 3. Chris Kluwe I had to include Kluwe after being such an integral part of our kick-A-S-S offense. And for showing tremendous composure and restraint by keeping his foot off of Brad's butt cheeks on national TV.

The Vikings could go 13-3 from here on out and I'd still want Childress to be fired at the end of the season. I'm actually angry that the Vikings managed to win this game -- Detroit(!) outplayed them throughout, and it took a BS pass-interference call to get in position for Longwell's game-winner. Had the Vikings lost, it would have put Childress's job in peril. As is, we're stuck with the guy for the season. We should be 0-6 right now.

The only thing worse than the officiating today was those terrible announers. Can't complain that the stripes hate the Vikes.

This victory was gift-wrapped and handed to the Vikings from the referees. The Lions' fumble and the Lions' pass interference call was the only differece maker. The Vikings should have gone for the two point conversion after the touchdown as well. Childress has no idea what's going on. Kicking the extra point showed his poor decision making skills but he got lucky that it didn't hurt him in the end. I say stop going to home games to send Ziggy a message

But quite a few games today went our way...anybody feel like the Vikings luck has changed for some reason? All we need is Dallas to lose and Packers to get smacked by Seattle...that will be just icing on the cake this weekend.

They didn't play down to their opponent. They aren't very good. There are High School offenses that run a more complex offense.

Okay, it was a win, and a win is a win. BUT this was a HORRIBLE game. Not fun to watch and lots of embarassing moments. I hate our play calling and our coach. The Klink loves to brag about how he's working closely with AP to enhance his game. Is it just me or is AP getting worse with Klink's help? Fire that loser Childress ASAP

As much as I agree with what you said, there is one problem...we wouldn't have much to talk about. And besides, it's fun to get each other riled up for the heck of it. I'm not complaining about wins either. At this point I would just like to see a quality win so I can have confidence in the organization as a whole. Other than that, 3-3 looks pretty good right now.

brad childress should be fired. he was hired for his offense and the defense is the only reason we win games. it is a third year offense that still looks like a first week offense. in my opinion it is really that simple. we are better off without him. a win is a win, but one like that, against the LIONS!!?? second week in a row we have gotten bailed by the refs big-time...otherwise our offense looked like garbage. defense, great again. berrian looks like he might be starting to pay off. making good catches, over 100 with a TD for the second straight week.

Good point...but Peterson is still the onlly bright spot in that awfense. Soon though, he'll get tired of carrying them. Childress is a joke, and if any players support him I'd be shocked. I seriously think he's trying to lose.
