Both teams did good. I think the Phillies we're getting tired towards the end. Phillies will be back next year.

Such angry forum trolls these days.
I get a kick out this moron bringing up your number of posts. He's not even smart enough to realize that he shouldn't be busting anyone's chops for a 3 per day average after posting roughly 20 on the same thread in the last 24 hours.

I just stopped responding to him. If you ignore them long enough, they eventually go away.

Besides, he could not grasp the whole supporting a team thing. Most people who support a team are there for them win or lose.

Some people have a life. Some people WISH they had a life, which is why ALL they can do is be an athletic supporter. Your a big boy now, Carbide. Such a big MAN who supports a TEAM. Wow, you impress me more and more. Keep commenting, I love idiots too.

Hey genius and I use that word very loosly when refering to you. I brought it up do to the fact that Carbide posts are in the HUNDREDS, I post on ONE topic and you have to make a statement about it. SOme "people" will never learn. And I am happy that good ole Carbide is no longer responding to me. I figured that he was doing the baby buggy thing and didn't have time. Shame he has time to post so much. Oh and have and nice day

Matsui is not our only slugger buddy.

Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Madson, Chase Utley, and Brett Myers, to name a few, played in Reading. We'll see how well the Yankees play next year, since Matsui's contract is over and will most likely not be playing with the team next year.

I wasn't going to reply to you because all you are doing is looking for a fight, pathetic.

Basically it's like this. I support them for many reasons. None of which you will understand because you are only here to fight over the internet. As much enjoyment as you are getting out of it, it makes you look pretty cowardly. I'm going to take a wild guess and imagine you as the type of person who would never say anything like you are saying to someone's face. In fact, I would even go so far as saying you are such a pussy, you never played a sport in your life and have no appreciation for them.

I know you are getting from me what you wanted all along, a response. No matter to me, I'll keep going on supporting this team and many others. I heard Penn State lost today too, guess what, I support them as well! You aren't going to bring me down with your school yard insults. If you were more intelligent and actually came up with some good ones, I might be inclined to reply more to you. Since you are the typical AOL user, you aren't one to posses those attributes.

Try as hard as you can to understand that it's not so much support for the team, it's the friends you make. By the sounds of it, you need a lot of help in that department.

Have fun trolling this thread.

Well, if you need to support a team to make friends, then my guess is your not a very interesting individual. I love YOUR take on the school yard insults when your best is I am an AOL user. Also your assumption as to why I am in need of help because I find the sports fantics a waste of time, is also laughable. Your so entrenched with the idea that playing a sport is what makes a person complete in their life, is also laughable. I could make the assumption, that you were a very incomplete person and thus needed to resort to playing a sport or rooting for them, to make friends. My entire take on this is, I am sick of hearing/reading/watching how, "next year will be the year", and again it seems that next year never comes. You continue to root for the home team, or ANY team. You continue to live in your little world that is so engulfed in sports that there is no other world out there. ANd since you've made assumption about me, let me go as far as to make assumptions about you. Humm, you went to Penn State for four years (maybe more). Your married and now have a baby. My guess is the baby is in daycare and your wife works. You've purchased a house in Upper Macungie township on a lot of land the size of a sand box. It's tan vinyl and your in debt so far you'll never see the light of day. Your paying on your college degree, the two cars you lease, and the modern furniture you own is very minimal. Your newborn is in daycare because your wife/significant other has no choice but to work. Humm, you go to the bar a couple of times a week to discuss sports with the other guys', before you head on home to a Wegman's heat and eat meal your wife threw in the microwave. You play golf on a Saturday morning so you can "network" with the other pencil pushers as you chat sports and discuss how the Phillies or any other team would have won had they done this play or that play. Now that is my assumption on you. as you made assumptions about me.

Point being that Carbide could make assumptions about me, so I returned the favor and made assumptions about him. And, if half the people in the U.S are as I described of Carbide, then it's pretty sad.

None of what you said is true, but that's okay with me. I won't get angry like you do over it. It's the internet, you can say whatever you want and hide behind your computer.

I support sports teams because it's something positive to do. Flaming people on an internet forum isn't so positive.

I also never went to Penn State, friends of mine went there and we used to sit in the student section of the stadium and watch the games for free. It's a blast up there, I recommend you go there sometime and see a game.

Also my life right now is just fine. My wife and I both work full time, have a nice house in a really good part of the Shillington/Mohnton area. The city/state under everyone's name here is where their ISP is, so you can't assume I live in that area.

As far as my child goes, he is going to be in a private daycare school by our house. It's going to educate him and get him ready for school and his future. I consider that positive also.

The thing is with you, you are negative because you make angry posts. You feel the need to be better than me, when I could care less. You're just another name to me, another troll. It's just a forum, if you are going to be angry and troll like you do, you need another hobby.

You made a comment about my post count. I've been on this board for a while, ever since my son was born. You obviously have no children or you would know there are a lot of late, sleepless nights. I already get up for work at 3am so most times I go to work with only a couple hours of sleep.

I hope that explains a little about myself so you run out of fuel for your troll like behavior. I've seen you post in other threads and you didn't seem like this much of a jackoff. Why the sudden change?

Enjoy your Sunday!

The Yankees have achieved a level of success in the world of baseball that is so gaudy, so well known, and so storied picking a handful of players to call their all time best is no easy task. They should be always competitive enough to keep pace with the others. I used to attend their games even their tickets get sold out. Luckily I found Ticketwood.com , now I’ll before compare prices before getting tickets. Go Yankees!!
