And the fact that you say that the Red Sox have "2 championships" to the Yankees' 26 shows YOUR lack of credibility. The Red Sox have won SEVEN World Series. And they have won two more recently than the Yankees have won one.
Apologies, I'm neither a yankees or red sox fan. 26 to 7. Still don't see why the Yankees don't have more to brag about. They have more championships, hence, more to brag about. Pretty simply concept that you can't seem to wrap your head around.

Hey orioles fan... you need to come to the realization that no one really cares. Because you're an orioles, colts, and bullets fan Im assuming the chances of you comprehending this epiphony are slim to none, but I can atleast try. Also, Orioles fan as far as the thug logic goes, Im pretty sure that Marvin Harrison was brought up on charges, which granted they were dropped, but none of the current ravens have done hard time.

What most people miss, or didnt know, was that Heap's injury last year was a torn hamstring, and not just a strain. It takes around 8-12 months to semi rehab, and by semi rehab I mean its never going to be the same. Also, to the best of my knowledge, Heap is one of the few players I have seen get up after taking a huge hit, walk back to the huddle, and do his job on the next play. I agree with whoever said maybe if we had a quarterback that could throw a pass to a receiver instead of behind them then he might have a chance. Give Heap a chance people, if Willis can play in the NFL after shredding his knee, Im sure Heap can run routes and break tackles with the best of them. Also, Shockey is a cry baby, we dont want him.

Im pretty sure that McGahee actually had more yards than lewis, and more yards per carry. The reason that Lewis had more touchdowns is that he is a powerback while Willis is more of a slash and cut runner.

Finally, playing football doesnt mean you understand the nuances of trade and hypothetical team building better than anyone. In fact, Id venture a guess to say that the braincells you lost probably put you at a disadvantage.

Agreed. Kyle Brady definitely seems like the way to go. Or possibly Jason Dunn, formerly of the Chiefs. Anybody but Jerramy Stevens.

What you cannot "wrap your fat head around" is the fact that the Red Sox have won two championships this century, to the Yankees zero. INCLUDING beating their a$$es in the biggest choke in baseball history in the 2004 League Championship Series. The Yankees continue to lose in the first round of the playoffs every year, while the Red Sox prosper. If you want to defend arrogant Yankee fans, fine, but wrap it around your own head, in your own time, pal.

There is no "pending indictment" against Marvin Harrison. He was questioned by police, and that was it.

How many ravens have been questioned by police this year? Oh yeah, none.

26 to 7. Pretty simple to me. Two championships in the last few years does not give you bragging rights when your team was impotent for 80+ years.

Dear OFF NY,

You can refer to the Ravens as "dirty gangsters" if you wish, they have had their share of run-ins with the law. Also remember that Ray Lewis was convinceted of obstructing justice, not murder. He lied about knowing some of the people involved. There are all kinds of rumours but the bottom line is Ray did his time and its over.

Meanwhile, just remember that people who live in glass houses ..

P.J Daniels is as injury prone as Alexander!! Now which one would you rather have on your roster??
An established Back like Shaun Alexander or a 3rd year player who I barely remember seeing taking snaps for the past 2 years?? I REPEAT from my 1st post: IF WE WON'T HAVE TO PAY HIM A FORTUNE, HE MIGHT BE A HELPFul ADDITION TO THE ROSTER!! Just an opinion.

Orrrr.... we could, hypothetically, give a new guy a chance and see what he can do. I can guarantee that no one thought Sypniewski (SP?) would be able to run a route if you asked them at the begining of last season, and he did a decent job coming in off the bench. They're a lot cheaper and younger, so I say cast experience to the wind and give a kid a chance.

First of all to Skag baltimore,or whoever the heck you are,I've been posting on here for the last year and don't recall mentioning your name at all,but since you want to defend your buddy Rob from Las Vegas and stick your nose in business that doesn't concern you,I'll include you as well. Are you two relatd or butt buddies or what? The point I was trying to make and I'll try to keep it simple for you,is that DeCosta and Newsome have done way more for the Ravens then let's say Rob from Las Veagas or baltimoreskag,so I'll very willingly accept that they know more about the game of football then myself or any other blogger on here.Does that mean they'll obviously be right all the time?Hell no,but they'll probably be right a lot more than some fair weather fan in Las Vegas.Or you,or me for that matter. Now hopefully you were able to understand that,I tried to type it as slow as I could.Rob is entitled to his opinion,I respectfully disagreed, what the heck that had to do with you I'll never know.So butt out of something that didn't concern you, jackass.

your right burp....how dare me comment from Vegas when your in esskayex.... the mecca of professional sports...please forgive my foolishness.....burp.......as far as the issue is concerned what has newsome or decosta done of value since Savage left...results please not speculation...as far as Skay goes I have often disagred with his opinions, but if you read these blogs even occasionally you cannot question his research or his dedication as a fan.

actually skag,I did question them, and also have noted that other than the immature and absolutely inane responses you make, you have attributed nothing to or refuted anything factually I said.Let's see Ngata was a beast and will probably be an all pro this year,Trevor Pryce when healthy, totally changed the makeup of the defensive line,Landry has been a very valuable sfety, and Joe Flacco will be a beast, and probably starting by the end of the year. Now,having said that, that puts me in a bit of a quandry because I also happen to like Smith over Boller, but look what happened to Rottensberger, there was no way Pittsburgh was starting him til Maddox and Batch got hurt. The rest is history, anything is possible.I also think Antwan Barnes will be much improved this year and the addition of Fabien Washington was a steal for a fourth round pick.Does that give you enough information for right now,or do you need some time to do some research of your own?I also expect the offensive line to be stronger and more atheletic this year, whether Ogden returns or not.And the linebacker from Miami reminds many of a young Ray Lewis, but hey what do I know, after all,I only read about 25 publications after the draft, most giving the Raven's a B,B+ or an A,and the best draft in the AFC North by the majority of them.So I'll once again let the experts speak for me and leave you and Rob to your inane ramblings.

My apologies, the last post should have been directed to Rob,not skag but they sound so much alike it's hard to tell the difference, and not only do I read this blog occasionally,I read it daily, and sometimes two or three times a day.And obviously you need geography lessons, because Essex is part of Baltimore County,a suburb of Baltimore.Vegas is a part of what mecca of professional sports again?Your claim to fame was Jerry Tarkanian and the often penalized UNLV Running Rebels.Anybody heard from them lately?Didn't think so.Do you still have that Triple AAA baseball team,Rob?WOOHOO,Go 51's!

And Rob,I'm not disagreeing with Skay's or your dedication as a fan,in my opinion at the end of the day, that's what makes each of us a fan,we don't have to agree to want our teams to do well.Nothing would make me happier than to see The Ravens and Orioles win, just disagree with your opinion, and as fans and living in a free country we have the right to do so.Actually this is quite fun and makes me be a better fan,Just one man's opinion. And What in the world does Esskay have to do with Essex?

BFE,

Rob says some interesting things not all that I agree with but here's something to think about. Vegas is home to some of the greatest odds makers in the world and the NFL is entirely about gambling. So Vegas if full of people extremely knowledgeable about the NFL. After all those people, have real money on the line.

The point Skag was trying to make is that Rob is more than just a fair weather fan. He has very interesting posts and I like reading them. His T-Sizzle Shiz Nizzle song was fricken hilarious. Even though his ISP is Las Vegas it doesn't even mean he is there or not from Baltimore or has no Baltimore connections. My ISP has Portland yet I have never missed a game. Lighten up Francis
