So, Saban doesn't like the new rule and is working on ways around it, or in other words to skirt the rule, to violate the spirit of the rule. On the other hand, Coach Schnellenberger favors the new rule as a way to allow 'teaching' in the spring.

HMMMMM I wonder what that means. Coach Howard who truly embraces the meaning of college football, and working with young men in an academic setting vs. the former coach of the Dolphins. I am at a loss here, can anyone tell me who is the better man?

What does it say about these guys character and morals? looking for ways around the rules? ISn't that a nice way of saying I'm looking for ways to cheat? If I were the NCAA i would be watching these guys like a hawk and pounce on them if they even "bend" the rule. What other fecet of life can you admit to trying to skirt the rules and not have some kind of reprocussion? I don't get it. If you don't trust your assistants, then why keep them? I know FSU had some bum assistants in there for awhile and it cost us lots of recruits. So tired of hearing about these coaches complain about recruiting. Obviosuly they need to do more recruiting of character instead of ability and the number of felons on any given team would drop.
