No matter how you write the story, the bottom line should be "They still suck balls."

Dan Hawkins walked into a nightmare of a program.

I don't think CU will ever be in contention again.

Which is sad to the alumni and to my wife...who is a CU student ( CU at Denver ).

Uh, what? I agree that any team can win a game. Other than that "Mike", I don't get it.

We wear the black and gold- my kid is not a powder blue kind of guy. That being said, he laughed about all his fellow students rushing the field yesterday, he said, "For Pete's sake, it's the Aggies- we're supposed to beat them! Oh, Yaayyy, we beat Wyoming!! LOL! No, they aren't good, but hopefully we haven't lost all ability to recruit- we'll see.

PS- they need to run the Option more.

Very true RM. Over on the boards on 850koa they are of course calling for Hawkins job.

I was hoping he could turn around the debacle after 4 years...I am not so sure anymore.

If they do go head hunting they need to try and snag the coach from either Cinncinatti ( unlikely ) or Connecticut ( probable ).

Both coaches have taken what is known as a "basketball" school and done AMAZING things with the football program.

I know Hawkins did the same thing at Boise State...although I am starting to wonder if it wasn't Chris Peterson all along...hmmm?

But one thing for sure if we get one of those guys and they come here and can't win and turn CU around...then the slime that was Barnett must still cling to the locker room walls and be dripping off the goalpost because then I guess no one can fix it.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Cancer

Someone dear to your heart isn't exactly a barrel of laughs today, are they? Is it your imagination or are they taking a perverse delight in spreading doom and gloom in all directions? If they've got good reason to be miserable then they deserve your sympathy, but even so it may not last for long. Try to keep active and cheerful, otherwise you'll also develop a tendency to brood.
