Only 12? well considering there are 43 drivers on the track, that there shows you agree that Jr ISN'T average.
Thanks, it is about time a hater realized they were wrong.
That makes sense to me. She wont accept it though. She's home but the light isn't exactly on.

The point you still do not seem to get is that even if they "get it", they will still be fans. You cannot discount the depth of loyalty people have to their favorite driver.
Not sure why people don't figure this out. Some fans will be fans NO MATTER what. I like my favorite band. They will never win an award. Most people find their music grating, but I love it. No Grammy, No Gold Records. But my #1. Nothing will change that - EVER. I think that is how Jr. Nation is.
He does not have to win a race. He does not have to win a championship. They will be fans. Why do you have a problem with that?
do you think they will ever get it???
a true fan loves an sticks with there driver win or lose .

I would actually rate Jr all around 7th, when you factor road courses, short tracks and the like. He has a knack for plate tracks. I like to attribute that to him getting a mechanical advantage that has been passed down through the earnhardts like a family recipie, or it could just bee that his dad tought him well on plate trakcs. All around I would give Jr 7th amoung the current drivers. I've neve said any different. I just don't think that the attention and accolades he gets coincide with his driving talent/ability.

So then he should not be hyped on the same level as, tiger woods, roger federer, michael jordan, joe montana, or even jeff gordon. He is not a champion at that level, but to watch fox sports you would never know it. somewhre somehow the stats are going to have to count for something, the realaty of sports is not a popularity contest. If that were the case why not just vote for the winner of the super bowl!!!
Then hold the media accountable! Quit birching at the fans.

I am sure that Jr himself wishes he was not so popular. I bet he wishes he could go out to the movies. He was born into this mess. He did not ask for it. He will never get to be normal, not matter what.

But ya'all would just love to see jr by himself for 300+ laps. You know he would win!! Problem for Jr is that there are at least 12 guys that can beat him, and usually do.
Not this season. Now that he is in higher quality equipment it has been unusal for 12 guys to beat him. I do not have the stats in front of me, but I think he has finished in the top 5 quite often.

That was not my point, he should not be given champion status for not being a champion. Fox coverage should not be biased for him in their commentary, on the air they should be impartial. He was not won a single championship, yet he is held in that esteem. and the 2 busch series don't count. that was 10 years ago!!
I love your avitar, I want to do mine like that to. Gotta love it! "GO KYLE" How nice of you to bow to JR Nation!! ROFLMAO!

Question is {HAS HE WON}? Kyle has won in all three, has JR? And three in Cup alone!

<quoted text>My name is Ms Cindy, Grannys friend. I said we are leaving the Nascar forum and I did and she will, but we will be on Kyles forum. I am on his forum now. And I called Granny at the hospital and told her what I said and she is very upset with me. She said she is glad you posted those pictures and cain't wait to see them when she gets home tomarrow. She said she trusted you enough to give you the Operation Home site and she knows you are a good person, for you cared enough to post those pictures. I am to blame for those posts I made and I am sorry, I went to far and Granny let me know that but she said she will if she can thank you tomarrow. Sorry some of these threads cross to other forums but we will be on Kyles only!
Well, thank you for that at least! However, I don't know that I am really in the mood to accept an apology just because it has been offered! I took the higher ground and offered mine some time back and got spit in the face as a thank you, I won't stoop to that level, but you most certainly overstepped the boundaries as far as I'm concerned. Between the two of you, I've never seen as much discontent and bickering - while refusing to accept responsibility - I really wish the two of you a very happy but equally miserable existence, as that seems to be when you're both the happiest! DON'T EVER EXPECT ME TO FORGIVE YOU - and I can't forgive Granny either since you were acting on her behalf - but just didn't know when to behave - big surprise!

You say favorite "driver" like there is some objectivity when it comes to Jr. He is not a driver like in the days of old when it was Sr against DW, or Harry Gant against Richard Petty, so on and so forth. He is one who inherited the kingdom off of other peoples backs and accomplishments. Every one of Sr's fans went to Jr overnight, and since all the media focoused on Jr after the 2001 Daytona 500, anybody new coming to NASCAR assumes that Jr is the best driver, I could not go into a sports bar or restaraunt and not see Jr's face plastered everywhere. So what I'm saying is that Jr is not a "driver" he is a celebrity with mass celebrity status. No other real driver in the series has a chance in the sea of Jr nation, it is unfortunate!

I find it entertaining you say a driver in the top 5 can't drive. You are really sloooooowwww and plain stupid! When I feel ignorant I'll come back to your post to remind me you're much more stupid then me.

Thanks I like the Avatar too, it was the perfect pic to capture the moment when KB just got in the face of the nation. He could not have has a sweeter moment in his young racing career! Hollywood could not have come up with a better script for how Kyle won that night!!

Ya, well, the point is that Jr was not supposed to have just been in the top 5, he sold his soul to get the best car, and this is all it is getting him? He was supposed to win Daytona, and he was supposed to win 6+ races, he is not on pace to do that. Those were the predictions and they are not coming to pass. We expect the Patriots to be in the super bowl, we expect tiger to win the PGA, and Jr was expected to be #1 this whole season, all the hype led to that. JG, JJ, and TS are not going to stay back for long, and when they get hot watch out Jr!! He is not as good as them...sorry nation!!
