Mets-Reds game rained out, doubleheader Saturday

The scheduled game between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets was postponed because of rain Friday night.

It will be interesting to see how the
ets start off the home stand against a couple of teams they should dominate.

This was the best rainout I've ever attended. I got to have dinner at the Diamond Club buffett with a friend, watch Met highlights on the television, and Tom Seaver and Keith Hernandez were having dinner at a table near us. When Seaver got up to leave, the fans gave him a standing ovation. Oh yeah, and I get to go back to Shea tomorrow night. Let's hope the team used the two days off to get ready for tomorrow's double header!
