There is scientific evidence that these products will help pain 30% of the time.(since placebos may work this effectively)
Nicely dressed up, and not harmful, except to the wallet. I'm kind of disappointed in UH buying into this, though. It lends credibility to this fad treatment. Why didn't UH invest in healing gemstones back in the 80's? |

When you say you are a "medical professional" what exactly do you mean? I know you're NOT a physician or a nurse because NO physician or nurse describes himself/herself as a "medical professional". Physicians say, "I'm a doctor". Nurses say, "I'm a nurse". So you make me skeptical when you call yourself a "medical professional". I'm guessing you work in the billing department or maybe you're a housekeeper at a hospital. Maybe you're a nurse's aid or a ward clerk. Also, I know you ain't a nurse or doctor because of your statement that "the body is 90% water". The body IS NOT 90% water. It's about 60-65% water. Only Aquaman's body is 90% water. |

DOC SMITH was a nickname I picked up in the army. For your info I was a nurse for 17 yrs then I went to PA school I am now a PA-C which stands for physicians asst. certified with a M.P.H. pa's are certified by the nccpa NAT.COM MISSIONON CERTIFICATION OF PHYSICIANS ASST. WE ARE REQUIRED TO RECERTIFY EVERY 5 YRS.and are required to have amin.of 100 hrs.inCME credits unlike drs who do not have to recertify I admit I was wrong as to the%ofh2o sorryevery one is not perfict

Thanks, I am proud of the UH. It is the only real university in our state but does well nationally with major reserach and some very good teaching. It is a major player in Asian studies, languages, religions, etc.

Very informative and objective article. I sincerley believe in the results of the titanium products and I now want one!! I now know where to find them! If it works for Balwan Singh, it will work for me.

I'm definately skeptical---but they sure have become popular in a slow, trickle-effect way. Havent seen much about them in the major health/fitness magazines at the newsstands. Def. a trend to watch!

You know who I've seen most wearing the Phiten discs? Older Japanese people. On arms, legs and neck for their old age aches and pains. A lot of young kids playing sports wear the necklaces just because it's "cool". |

Your belief in the healing powers of Titanium is like believing that Obama is not a socialist and communist.
I know hon. You are all voting for him. Wrap that Titanium around your head tightly, very, very tightly to experience maximum effect. |

I participated in a demonstration at a trade show by some huckster who had some spray that they claimed was supposed to aid flexibility. First they had me reach down and try to touch my toes; they measured the distance between the tips of my fingers and the floor with a ruler (this was an empirical test after all). Then, they sprayed my lower back with something and rubbed it into the skin. Then, they had had me do the same reach down drill again. When the distance was measured again, wow, I could actually reach down over an inch further!
Did the spray help? Well, I’m no medical professional, but either the miracle spray on my back somehow loosened the tendons at the backs of my legs, or, the first bend-over (kind of a symbolic gesture, actually) stretched my hamstrings enough so that bend-over number two gained an inch. By all means, folks: do try this at home. |

Thanks to The Mufster, I feel like I have bent over enough.
