uh oh, this is going to be a long season..luckily this is only preseason. Life sucks as a Chi-town sports fan now.

Why doesn't Vinney let Rose be more creative. It looks like hes forced to execute every play without any deviation. There are so many times that he could have just attcked the rim, but Rose will stop just to pass the ball to someone who will shoot a brick. And there are lots of "jumpshooters" on this squad. This is the time they should be experimenting, let Rose do his thing.

Guys, It's PRESEASON! Gordon hasn't played yet, and this team will need his scoring.

This is going to be a year of growing pains... The first half of the season will start slow. Hopefully we'll see some improvement in the second half of the season. If we're lucky, maybe a push for the 8th seed in the playoffs.

Rose is the real deal, but point guards take a year or two to develop. To me the most concerning thing is watching Del Negro Coach, but again, give the guy a chance with a full squad and regular season games before you give up on him!

nothing really concerns me but the giving up layups has got to stop. turnovers are expected with this team(new coach, new PG) in preseason but the defensive tenacity HAS TO BE THERE for this team to succeed. without it, at best...its a .500 team. with it? who knows.

concerning some of these posts. bears are in first place, sox and cubbies made the playoffs...blackhawks are on their way up. Clearly, the bulls look like a bunch of "lost", out of control, undisiplined, school yard players. They look so bad that the "and 1" players could "beat down" the bulls.

Yes, it is preseason and you are suppose to figure out your future line ups etc....BUT, you are suppose to be able to "win" a game here and there too.

I"m thinking that the bulls will end up starting the "regular" season "0-10" and "bust a move" Derrick Rose will end up being called just "buster" or "bust a rose".

Growing pains...here we go again. Does it ever end with this franchise? The fact this team is having to start over for the umpteenth time goes to show just how terrible the Ben Wallace signing really was. The team was supposed to be so close, but instead of finding the right guy to put them over the top, Reinsdorf and Paxson took a chance on Ben Wallace, who they knew couldn't score to save his life, and two years later, it's back to square one. Is anyone besides me, getting sick and tired of this continued starting over routine?

What is getting lost in this preseason is that very little has changed from last season. A couple of guys are playing with heart (most notably Tyrus Thomas), but other key guys are not. In the third quarter when the Bulls had the 3-on-1 break, what was missed was that Tyrus Thomas busted his rear on the right wing and Deng loafed on the left wing and was not where he was supposed to be when Hughes passed the ball. Now it all would have still gone for naught because Hughes ran over the defender, but what it shows is Deng still has NO HEART. I would have thought that he would now have 71 million reasons to have heart. Unless the Bulls are working out a trade for Ben Gordon, this stubbed big toe injury is nothing but pouting. The best thing for a stubbed toe is to get out and run on it. Again, NO HEART. I hope Gordon watches Jerry Macguire because it will be the tale of his season. If he doesn't discover HEART, no one is going to "SHOW HIM THE MONEY!!!"

Starting lineup for the future: Rose, Thabo, Deng, Thomas, Noah...Noc being the 6th man. I don't know why coaches won't play this lineup. Rose and thabo is the only viable backcourt option if this team wants to be a real nba contender. Nocioni hasn't been very good since his knee injuries, but I'd still give him equal time as deng, cause deng is soft and plays like a girl.

Did you Rose bashers even watch him play the last three games? The guy is explosive, but he needs time to learn. He's 19 for Pete's sake!

Watching these Chicago Bulls reminds me of when I was playing on a church league some years ago,we couldnt play basketball and got a few wins and lots of losses,as this Bulls team will this season,going to be long WINTER!!
