Northwestern loses first game of the season

Javon Ringer ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns to lead No. 23 Michigan State to a 37-20 win over previously unbeaten Northwestern on Saturday.

Headline: "Northwestern Loses First Game Of The Season."
Wrong. Northwestern won its first game of the season. The headline should have read, "Northwestern Loss Is First Of Season," or something like that.
Has Zell fired all of the copy editors, too?

Don't make excuses... it's not fitting of the game that was played. MSU spanked Northwestern "purple" today... I wish the 'Cats luck the rest of the way. MSU is getting it done this year. OSU better look out for the Spartans too. Big game in E. Lansing next weekend agains the Buckeyes.

I question some of Fitz' play calling as well, and how the team will respond from here on out...

NW should win many games this year. We beat a very tough Iowa team already in a great game. With the exception of PSU, NW can hang with any Big Ten team. But, we can NOT have so many turnovers.
