With JB's recent adventures I wonder if he is still pitching inside like he said he would? It seems to me that with his stuff that if hitters feared him more (like pitching inside more) that he would command the outside corner. Also I think it would be an interesting article on player confidence. It seems like at times he totally loses his confidence. Not sure why this is. If he had Don Drysdale's confidence or Goose Gossage's "meanness" this kid would be unhittable.

Thanks

I think we should demand a recount for that last all star spot. Showing the bunt, grand slam and catch a few times on TV should humiliate Victorino eough that he would not want to show up in St. Louis for the game. It just goes to show how the all-star game has become a joke. A media exhibit and the chance for morons to pick the players. E-geeks rig the results on line. There is no way that a million more people voted for Victorino, he just had a million more bogus votes.

Great job, Manny! It must feel wonderfully satisfying to have juiced to achieve a tie w/ Mick. You and the other juicer, McGwire, should have a drink to celebrate taking down another Yankee legend who played by the rules. I trust Dodger fans will stand and cheer your "milestone."

Those of you ready to push the panic button over Broxton stinking up the joint Sunday and last night, fear not! "Buffalo" is still a kid and when he doesn't pitch but once-a-week, he loses his control. Yesterday he was wild IN the zone, giving the good Brewer hitters something to mash and they did. It's a good thing the lead was 6 at the time.
I love Joe, but he's notorious for screwing up the pitching staff, witness Broxton and Belasario

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Taurus

Keep calm! Your emotions are becoming increasingly heightened and intense today. As a result, you're likely to take things much more seriously than usual. That's wonderful if you're involved in a hot and heavy encounter with Mr or Ms Right, but it won't be such good news if you go overboard about silly trifles. If you're doing some last-minute shopping you'll want to be as extravagant as your budget allows. Or is it a case of Budget...? What budget?
