Can Cody turn corner?

Bye Dan Cody... you are one beat up football player. You will have some money to start a new profession, count your blessings. Two bad knees, I would be suprised if you make game four.

Personally, I'd like to see Cody stay healthy this year and be a major contributor to the defense. The guy has skills.

I don't want to start romurs, so I will emphatically state here and now, I have NO knowledge of anything other than what I read here in the news. But, I can't help but think there may be performance enhancing drugs involved with Cody. Many of stories I have read speak to how these drugs break down your tendons and ligaments (see OU alumni Brian Bosworth). Either he has been in for a freakish stretch, is just not physically able to handle NFL strength, ot he has been overdosing on substances that have broken down his knees (as far as we know, thats all his injuries have been). Sorry Dan, nothing personal, but you have had your 3 strikes, and after only having payed a whole 5.3 downs per yr.

I would love to see him do well especially with T-Fizzle's uncertainty. I hope it works out.

I, for one, hope Dan can stay healthy. We need all the D-line depth we can get. I can't say I'm too confident it works out for us though.

He is a bum like all of the other Eric De Costa picks. DeCosta should be on the hot seat like Ozzy Newsome. Why did we ever get rid of Phil Savage?????????? Get ready for 4-12 and thats a gift.

Cody should have been cut a long time ago ! Maybe a sleeper and may appeal to another team in need of a once highly touted college player. Nobody can envision him actually playing even him. If he shows well this season trade him to the next unwitting sucker and get a draft pick or bundle him for a player of need or cut him early to make room for another player that does not make someone squad.

Jake Nordin wasnt drafted by De Costa?? He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Patriots...

I read the possibility of steriods may be an issue as well , it was an article stating some football draft rooms aren't doing enough homework on over achievers on the football field while in college,,,,,,,, there is a question mark on our drafting over the past five years , it hasn't been real pretty..........

I do hope the guy works out though he did get plenty of good press.........time will tell.

no player is THAT unlucky, he is soft, his body cannot take the pounding to play football at the pro level, he will never makeit! he will be out for the season by the 3rd game.

Mike. Who said anything about Nordin. This is about Cody, a draft pick of the OZ and De Costa. Tell me who has De Costa drafted that made the Pro bowl?..... Phil did not just leave, we f#$)*(& up and did not offer him Ozzy's job which we should have done and let Oz goback to Cleveland. Browns would be where they were 10 yrs ago like we will be until we dump De Costa.

I have never heard of someone getting cut in training camp five minutes after camp starts.

There must be more to this story.

As for Cody, he won't make it through the first scrimmage.
