No, WVU was away, But the horrific aspects to the entire debacle was:
a.Defense: WVU had their coverage people 10 yards off ECU's receiver, and rarely blitzed. ECU then proceeded to throw in front of them with Wide receiver blocking and gain yards. Also, since WVU coverage was so far off from the receivers, the ECU receivers ran their routes unchecked, and the QB could locate them readily. Finally, since the cusion was so huge, the ECU receivers were running at the defenders at full speed, and could cut at full speed so no WVU defender could sidestep with their recivers who were at full speed.

b. Offense: WVU got way too cute with the motion offense, and they were not spreading ECU's line out wide enough to give Devine and White the necessary running lanes. However, the offense could not find a rhythm since ECU dominated time of possession.

If this is the type of defense WVU plans on running, 10 yard cusions with passive zone, they will lose 5 games this year.

At least we don't have to wait until the end of theyear to get our National Championship dreams crushed.

Dent threw another one over Pat's head. THats two in two games this year.
