Of course it is political, that is a silly question to even pose. But I'll bet that if Barack Obama were to drop the puck, or throw the first basketball for the NHL or the NBA, the news media would cover it as the 2nd coming of the Messiah!

I'm appalled by the blatant use of the team and their fans to boost a political candidate. Her hate-filled rallies are an embarrassment to this nation. She supports Alaskan separation from the USA, and to me that is traitorous and treasonable. What an utter disgrace!

Oh please...sports teams aren't allowed to have anything to do with a Republican candidate, but I bet if they had a Democrat, it would be thought of as a neat thing. I'm so sick and tired of all the liberal biased media and liberal biased government trying to teach everybody how to think. Wake up! Think for yourselves! Or we'll be the next communist China, where everything we read or hear is checked for acceptable content first.

Who is Ed Snider think he is fooling? Big time Republican donor, republican cheerleader and water boy. He couldn't find the ultimate hockey mom in Philly? or are they too smart for him?

Ed Snider should be ashamed of himself for inviting this racist, intolerant, hateful bimbo to drop a puck. No self respecting Jew would invite a confirmed Anti-Semite to make a public appearance for the sake of a buck. Snider shied away from signing Russian hockey players for years because of the blatant anti-semitism in the USSR which took courage and integrity, and now cashes in his self respect for the sake of a buck. Ed I'm ashamed of you. Maybe you should be going to see your Rabbi to ask for forgiveness. Aside from this, Palin is an agent of hate and racism and has NO PLACE in sports. I'll always be a Flyers fan but I'm amazed that Mr. Snider would dirty the name of hockey for the sake of politics. Ed, you'll pay when you meet your maker.

You got to speak your piece and nobody stopped you, not even the "liberal biased media". I guess you like hate, intolerance and racism. Don't look now but your sheets and hood need pressing. Why don't you light up a burning cross so you can see better.

LOL Glenn, way to swallow the racist pill the Obama campaign is feeding everyone. If not voting for a Democrat who happens to be black makes me a racist, then so be it, I suppose! Your post was so full of tolerance and love, it makes me ashamed of myself....*rolling eyes*

grow-up

before this election, NOBODY knew sarah palin.

NOW EVERYBODY is an expert on her? and many HATE her?

yes it is political, so is OBAMA going on oprah, so is lettermen, snl, and media attacking the republicans. yet democrats dont complain about that, now do they?

if dropping the puck bothers you that much, then you are an adult who is as immature as a child.

its fun. relax. i may not vote for the republicans, but i will still watch the game and clap when she is introduced.

GET A LIFE...OR BETTER...LEARN TO CARE ABOUT SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

OBAMA=CHANGE? UH...you do know that the democrats control congress and did NOT pass/introduce any bills to regulate the banking system? OBAMA HAS TIES TO ACORN!!! talk about FRAUD!!!
