I can't tell you how good it is to not have that rotten feeling in the pit of your stomach on a Sunday night. It's fun to watch the Phins play football again and plenty of props go to the coaching staff for throwing out the original playbook and bringing in a new era of exciting football to Miami.

Oh---and the Defense was outstanding today. Now lets go 3-2 next week....

How awesome would that be to be 3-2 with a 3-game winning streak!! Never would have seen that one coming a month ago. I can't wait to see the Dolphins come here to St. Louis and lay a smack down on the Rams in November.

THis defensive front 7 is shutting down the running game AND harassing the opposing QB. Can't ask for much more out of a front 7 than that.

In addition to throughly enjoying todays win, was watching former Fin, Sage Rosenthal, singlehandedly blow the game for Houston with 3 "miscues" in just a few minutes - next week should be even more fun. Man, it would be nice to win 3 in a row.

Bob, I have to agree, it seems like forever since I was able to enjoy games such as these past 2.

This is such a great feeling! Actually watching the Dolphins control the game against one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the AFC if fantastic.

I don't want to get ahead of myself and start making predictions, but it sure feels nice to be this team great football.

How funny, they called this game a sell out and half of the stadium was empty. What a surprise for the fickle South Florida "fans".

For all the Miami Dolphins Fans? WHO IS ON TOP OF THE DIVISION?? HUH...WHO IS YOUR DADDY? NEW ENGLAND !!!!!!!!! If New England and Buffalo keep winning one game after another, then It will be a waist of time for the tuna to win, of I forgot about the Jets which could be on third place. After all Miami Dolphins are not gonna make it and everything will be like in the beginning. Wake up Miami Dolphins , smell the coffee...YOUR TEAM SUCKS...

Well reality check here, the giddiness from all of us is understandable, but there are still 12 games to go and some of those will be played in cold weather - not exactly the Fins forte and against some tough teams, including the Jets again and the Bills twice - those are "must win" games.

That said, it's sure nice to be the ones doing the pushing around for a change.

every time we win i'm angrier than ever that we blew the opener
to the Jets when we had it won if we just ran it in. we should be 3-1 right now instead of 2-2. if we miss playoffs by 1 game i will be ready for the strait jacket. but i'm hopeful we can win more than we lose form here on and get in the playoffs anyway. we can thank Favre if we do. If he didn't go to Jets we would never have gotten Pennington, and would be 0-4.

I love our "new" team. Its often said by the guys who have been there and mentioned today by Cower....Teams take on the persona of their coach. I am most excited about how the players are getting after it and then praising coach Sparano so much. This team is tough and looking like one team that nobody will want to play all year. The team was amazing, especially the lines!!! Ginn better get it together and find a pair instead of the OB line did anybody else see Porter yelling at him for running out of bounds? Great game and for the first time in several years I am so excited for the year ahead!!

Jay - I would not be so sure about that (3 yrs). Anything can happen in this league, and fast (if you've got the right guy bringing in players). Next year is a possibility. All the Tuna needs is a top flight WR and a shut down corner to compliment Will Allen. I'll bet he'll go and get those players in the off season, draft, trade or FA.

This team reminds me of the Giants last year. No stars aside from Strahan, but a team that controls the line of scrimmage. Only thing, the G men do have two top flight receivers. And yeah, Manning is a game manager like Pennington, nothing more.

Here's something I haven't heard mentioned yet, in the past when its 2nd and short we'd run the ball up the middle for between 1 yrd and -3yds and didn't get the first down. What I saw today in that situation was either a pass out of the conventional offense or the wildcat run for a 1st down. The Wildcats stats of 10-49 doesn't sound that impressive, but it allowed us to excell in situations where we've been uncreative/vanilla in the past. The Wildcat also had something to do with running out the clock in the last 5:55. That 5:55 drive could be a Phins record for an end of the game drive when leading by 8 or less.

Bro, you got killed by us and then almost lost to the crappy 49ers...if I were you I would shut up sit down and see if your team can win against a playoff team. Teams New England has beaten: Chiefs, Jets, 49ers. Dolphins: PATRIOTS, CHARGERS...enough said.
