Go to a real school. I would say this is the norm for a PSU student. His blood alchol was a .18? What a wus. Maybe it was a misprint and they ment to say his GPA.
PSU SUCKS!!!
Where did you go to school, genius? Check your spelling of "alcohol" and "meant". At least you spelled "sucks" correctly. The again, that word would be easy for any Irish fan. Last season, every sports writer in the country wrote that "Notre Dame Football Sucks!" LOL!

If his drinking was all at one bar the bartender has some explaining to do. You do not just keep feeding people shots. The bartender in my picture would have thrown this guy out rather quickly.
no penn stater stays at one bar on his/her 21st birthday when there are something like 25 bars within walking distance of each other.

wow.. That is a complete fallacy my friend. You are probably just angry you never had a shot in heck to get in. There are bad in every school. and there are stiff requirements to get into the main campus. However, the (how should I say) less aggressive students will take a two-year stint at a satellite campus and then go to main. I firmly believe a motivated student is the best.. no matter you SAT score.. When I went, I think the requirement was like 1150 or 1200 SAT score.. I was above both, but still I do not think it was an easy score to get for most.
bottom line is that you can not make judgement on a school that big by the typical lehigh valley F up. Im sure you are in this category.
your sat's may have been above 1200 (definitely up for debate), but you are stupid as s.h.i.t.!!

and lastly you moronic idiot, many "aggressive" students attend satellite campuses because their families don't have the money to pay room and board for 2 years while they could be living at home. the more i read your post the more i realize you are an A.S.S.

and btw, i did attend a satellite campus and to this day i'm still friends with the same group of people that i met there. in my "non aggressive" group of friends (and we're in our late 30's, we are an assistant principal, an officer in the military, a lawyer, a regional vp of a national corporation, and a physical therapist...so please, think before you say stupid things you s.h.i.t.h.e.a.d.!!!

Transcript from a meeting in the 1850s...

SMARTGUY #1: I have an idea. Let's start a college. We'll put it out here in the middle of nowhwere. And we'll make it really hard to get into and that will give it some prestige.

SMARTGUY #2: No, no no. If we make it too hard then we won't have enough students.

SMARTGUY #3: Wait! I've got it. We'll make it really hard to get into this college here out in the middle of nowhere. But, we'll have these, ummmm, we'll call them branch campuses, all over the state. We'll let the students go there and if they can make it through two years we'll let them come out here.

SMARTGUY #1: Great idea!!! But we need something for them to do when they aren't in class...

SMARTGUY #2: Yes, yes, there's really not too much to do out here. We'll have to think on that...
But hey, Next round is on me boys!!! And make sure that Paterno kid drinks for once!!!

I GUARANTEE he was drinking LONG before his 21st birthday! If we ELIMINATE high school drinking parties by giving stiff fines to the parents and hundreds of hours of community service to the minors, they wouldn't be such alcoholic losers by their 21st birthday! The college doesn't matter...it's a society issue!

This is proof that there is no need for a drinking age. If we aren't given a reason to go nuts on our 21st birthdays, nothing like this would happen.

If he was drinking long before his 21st birthday he probably would have developed a tolerance large enough to prevent him from doing something this stupid with a .18 B.A.C. If the drinking age were lowered and kids were allowed to develop responsible drinking habits in the supervision of their family stuff like this would be less likely to occur. Instead sheltered kids go off to college and develop their drinking habits at frat parties where the measure of a man is how many beers he can funnel down or how long he can do a keg stand. This is what happens when we delay maturity in this country.

Hey kids don't always make good choices. At least he's honest. He's the one who called the cops. Maybe it was a cry for help. Either way this goes on at PSU, ND, Harvard, Penn and Lehigh. But it also happens at Kutztown, Millersville and the satellite schools. And whoever said that there is no minimun for SAT's is fooling himself. Try getting in to a good school with a 1000. Here is a sampling of what these schools want ..... I am a Penn grad.

2002 eh? Wisdom of the ages.

I'm the one who said school's don't set a minimum. Let's pick one of your examples. Penn. You say bottom 25% scored an average 650. What about 640? Anyone enrolled with those scores? How about 630? 620? Anyone there with an average score of 600? I could do the same for any of the schools you list.

I repeat, there are no minimums. Anywhere. There are admissions boards that decide based on multiple factors including SAT scores. Looks like Penn didn't do such a hot job preparing you for real-world scenarios that are not black or white.
