Nobody should profit from this book. It should not be sold or published. Shame on Fred Goldman for being so hypocritical and going against the wishes of the Brown family to not publish this book. I agree with Denise Brown. No amount of money will ever bring the two dead people back to life.

I fully agree. The only one that can't see reality is someone whose eyes are shut{wide open) lol. O.J. is not going to live long, the bible say. an eye for an eye..... |
|
O.J. is outraged?Gee,that's a real shame. Not being able to profit from getting away with murder really sucks, doesn't it?

This guy just needs to go away! Mankind has no use for this "thing".

O.J. is a murderer! I don't care if he was aquitted. The trial was a travisty of justice and if not for the ego of Garcetti he would have been convicted as he should have been. He will rot in hell as he should and everything the Goldmans do to him in this life is the only punishment he will receive. God bless the Browns and the Goldmans and may God have mercy on O.J.'s soul.

Mr goldman must be in OJ's dreams by now. He is a real hero in my eyes because he said he would haught the killer till his death. He doesn't need the money he is just making OJ pay for murdering innocent people.Mr goldman is a dentist and he doesn't need the money.

he should have been put to sleep like the animal he is

hey OJ- one word for you: "karma!" I guess you
thought you were gonna make some big $ selling your dispicable horror story. As if not being behind bars for life isn't good enough. The shame of it... haven't your children been through enough? |
|

The law declared OJ not guilty of murder. The law also declared him responsible for 2 deaths and awarded the 2 families money. Now the law has awarded the rights of a book to one of the families. OJ followed the law by not going to the gas chamber, he should follow the law now.

|
The jury didn't believe he was innocent, they came back with this verdict because the prosecutors were inept. I guess you haven't seen any of the juror interviews.... |
|
I NEVER believed that OJ did it. you are the first person to type the thoughts I've maintained from day 1! Thank you for your post!!! |

Unlike most of the posters here, I lived in Los Angeles at the time of the murders and ended up covering both the criminal trial (Camp OJ) and the civil trial (OJ by the sea) for ESPN, CBS and Fox.
Here in a nutshell is why Simpson was acquitted of the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. The murders were committed in Brentwood in the western part of LA. Because of this, the criminal trial should have been held at the West LA Courthouse, which was in Santa Monica. Because of the Rodney King verdict-related riots in 1992 in which over 50 were killed, LA District Attorney Gill Garcetti was ---and this is not too strong a word --- terrified of the real possibility of a majority- or all-white jury convicting OJ Simpson of murder and the possible (probable?) resulting riots. Garcetti ordered the trial be held at the Downtown Courthouse, which insured a downtown, i.e. mostly minority and poor jury pool. Garcetti claimed he moved the trial because the Santa Monica facility had been damaged in the January 1994 earthquake and that the Downtown Courthouse was better equipped to handle the media. There was an element of truth to this, but the civil trial was held in Santa Monica and everything went fine and the jury returned with what amounted to a "guilty" verdict, holding Simpson "responsible" for the deaths. Garcetti got the jury he "wanted" and that jury wasn't about to convict Simpson of anything. It was payback time against the LAPD for wrongs real and imagined. The legal term is "jury nullification" and Garcetti's case based on DNA and timelines was irrelevant. To make matters even worse, Judge Robert Ito lost control of the trial early on and it became a circus. Remember Saturday Night Live's "Dancing Itos"? Out in front of the courthouse it was even worse. All we were missing were three rings. And that's the Cliff's Notes version of why OJ walked. |
