He is a complete idiot. I pray that he will not have children and give them that silly @$$ name. I hope Reebok cancels his contract and sues him for changing his name.

Reebok can't cancel Chad Johnson's contract because Reebok is the supplier of all uniforms to the NFL for this season. The contract that Reebok has is with the NFL. Basically, the NFL will have to sell all the old jerseys with Johnson on the back before they allow and sell the Ocho Cinco ones.

Both the new and the old are going to be popular. I know that someone wanted to change his number last year and couldn't because of the amount of uniforms still out on the market.

Ocho Cinco means 85 in Spanish. His jersey number is 85. The NFL should change his number and make him look like an even bigger idiot to disuade others from this sort of thing.
And the guy is black, not Spanish or Mexican. It may be an insensitive swipe at Mexicans on his part. But then, blacks aren't held to the same standards of decency and "sensitivity" as the rest of us.
How could any person with half a brain cry foul if blacks or hispanics get a pass sometimes? I mean whites recvd such a headstart with being successful in this country and you guys are still screwing it up for yourselves. Soon you will be the minority and we will put you and a boat and send you to africa. Enjoy :)

Well when that happens then we all know the country has gone to hell. Why do black athletes have to pull so many "LOOK AT ME" stunts to get attention. If you are a true athlete you skills on the field will get you all the attention you need. Besides if all the white people were gone then who would pay for all your food stamps and low income housing?

Cassius Clay....Lou Alcindor....
why not Chad Johnson? Just because it isnt over religon?..you know, what is seperated from state?
The NFL stands to make money off selling the shirts to the idiots out there for licensing. If they wait, said idiots will have them made anyway.
I would be more concerned that the NFL make players cut their hair so you can at least read the name on the back of the jersey...whatever it is !

Ocho Cinco does not mean eighty five in Spanish. That would be ochenta y cinco. It means eight and five but not eighty five.
