When Carlos Rocha moved to the United States from Portugal almost 40 years ago, he was completely unfamiliar with American football.

No thank you Mr woody woodpecker for sending the jets to new jersey. Idislike woody woodpecker so much. He is a nerd that always had a silver spoon in his mouth. Big frigin deal they will come to long island once a year. That is suppose to make the loyal long island fans happy give me a break.
The jets will never win a superbowl with woody as the owner of the jets. One moron woody ruined the whole history of the jets. Good job you geek.

You go to their practice, then their games. Buy a bunch of their gear. Then throw in the gas, tolls, parking, food, drinks and during the season, 10-12 hours for each home game at the cost of what? A couple of grand maybe three grand. No more practice on L.I. and the P.S.L.
Do you REALLY believe they care about the fans?
5-11 this season. You fools deserve this team.

Uh, I hate to break this to you, but Dolan has nothing to do with The Jets. Blame Woody Woodpecker, the owner of the Jets for this. Nobody cares about the regular fan anymore. With the Jets and Giants joining the rest of the NFL with PSL's, Citifield, with 13,000 less seats and more luxury boxes, and the new Yankee Stadium with seats behind the dugout costing $2500 for a regular season game, it is just ridiculous. I have friends back in New York who will not pay the legalized extortion, aka PSL's, for the Jets on principal, and they can afford it. I hope that all the owners of all sports teams lose tons of money for being greedy. They certainly deserve it!!

Actually, Dolan had plenty to do with the Jets not building the West Side stadium and thus remaining in New York. He lobbied intensely against the Jets being allowed to build in Manhattan because he didn't want another sports franchise cutting into his deal with the devil.

You are correct as far as his dirty dealings with the proposed West Side Stadium. I absolutely can't stand Jim Dolan, but having a stadium in Midtown Manhattan was not a good idea. The traffic while building it and the traffic on event days, would just make Manhattan much worse than it is. The owner of the Jets is responsible for them moving from Hofstra. When I lived in Brooklyn, I would meet friends and would go to watch the practices. I can't cause I live in Ohio and they won't cause they won't travel to Jersey. It is a darn shame.

Hess should have never moved them after the 83 season. One of his chief complaints was dirty bathrooms. As if that couldn't be fixed. If he insisted on leaving Shea, a new stadium should have been built in Queens.

Even though my rant will change nothing, I have to let Woody know he clearly has left us in the dust. LI is where it all started for the Jets. It's bad enough we will never have our own stadium. Remaining forever the bastards of the NFL. Now he leaves us even further in the rear view mirror by moving camp to NJ.
Hopefully someday someone will bring the NFL back to NY and it's loyal fan base thats been crapped on by Woody following up Leon

Woody can play the Green and White game in the swamps of NJ. I'll pass.
