"We contributed to every touchdown with penalties and turnovers," Greenwich coach Rich Albonizio said. "We're playing undisciplined football. The kids gave everything they had against a very good football team."

Have every kid that committed a penalty or turnover run 100 laps.

Why is it every time GHS loses they are out coached. They are out coached when they win also. Talent is what usualy gets them through the FCIAC's.

I saw that game and there were plenty of questionable calls against Greenwich. I really hope that the refs are accountable to someone on some level.

I really despise these guys. You can almost feel their anti-Greenwich hatred as they throw their flags. Looks like they read the papaers and feel it is their duty to teach Greenwich a lesson.

2007 Cardinals: Thoroughbreds
2008 Cardinals: Ham and eggers
But of course everyone but "Jump off the bus" Gus and Fatty knew there were too many "eggers" on this team.

Looking at the INJURY roster for the Cardinals, going into this game I see:
QB - recovering for ankle injury
RB - starting halfback - out for season
Center -out for season
OT - out for season
Defense -
Safety - Out for season
LB - Out for season

So I guess you need to insult the kids who valiantly backup the starters, and kept GHS in the game until the final minute?

No. Isn't it clear that the common complaint is that it is a disgrace that this coach, who sold the soul of the community by failing to protect a young assistant and who has a history of a lack of character, and the thugs who attacked the young coach are allowed to represent this community. The community rejects them, and unfortunately their teammates suffer for their sins.

Coaches are to blame...their team wasn't ready....
having all thoughs injuries is due to the lack of good coaching. The GHS team is out of control...
very sad for the kids...
