Hello, where was this "mother" of this nine month old child? If she were standing right there, she should have been able to grab her. Swimming lessons are NOT a substitute for a watchful eye, ESPECIALLY for infants around water! Duh!

Here we go again, another perfect parent. You are so quick to judge when you have no idea of the circumstances. We all know that accidents happen. Instead of scolding and judging why are you not happy that this mother and child's outcome was a good one.
I am all for teaching our children whatever it takes to be safe and stay alive. Accidents do happen and we should prepare ourselves as best we can.

Emler Swim School is awesome~! They taught both my kids to swim! Jean (that women teaching) is great. I think all parents should give their kids swim lessons AND never leave them unattended.

Drowning is the number 1 cause of death for children until 5 in Texas!

It only takes a second to swallow enough water to drown!
