How fast is too fast? http://www.silverstateclassic.com/results-07-... Everyday dudes doing 200-220 mph (legally), in street cars, over 90 miles of public nevada highway that they shut down for the day. Frankly Id like to see a little more speed out of the "professionals" Whoyakidding wrote: <quoted text>Left to their own devices the teams would have the cars going way too fast.

I will be planted directly in front of my 50" plasma, shoes off, pup napping on my lap, Captain and Coke in hand, surround sound on "bleeding ears" setting, wife in the kitchen making me snacks. It doesn't get too much better than that. Well it could I guess, but I would not be clothed....neither would Milka. ;-)

Everyone with half a brain knows that it is much better racing than NASCAR could ever hope to be. 5) Take all the money that I have aquired from all those I suckered into believing in the NASCAR Lifestyle and head for a South Pacific Island and retire. 6) Watch the IRL on satellite television. Oh sky this is funny! Just watch it you might like it, he he.

I guess I prefer 220+ mph side by side racing...the kind where you actually have to pass someone to get in front rahter than wreck them if you can't get by racing. Cars that look like they are race cars, not the old Checker Superba I used to ride home from the airport in. Don't get me wrong...I'm not slaming NASCAR. It's just not really for me. I'm more of a technology kind of guy. NASCAR and Technology are two words that really don't belong together.

We clap during intros at Indy and they boo! I was like what and they clap when drivers wreck. The rest doesn't bother me! If Juan can get over it so can I, lol.

It's the same thing as all the other races the people who like to watch racing sit on the outside of the track the ones who want to drink and act nuts sit on the inside, lol. Now that's not always true if it's the stands by the Pagoda and on home row! I liked the Brickyard but I had great seats and it was the outside of the track. Some people get stuck inside just to go, Nascar makes you have a seat unlike Indy where you can pay $20 and get in general addmission tickets.

I worked the Brickyard a few yeas back...that was more than enough for me. What a slice of Americana. The topper was the family with matching mullets and tatoos. Mom, Dad and the two kids all sporting the same Billy Ray Cyrus doo. Mom and Dad with tats on the forearms and the yungins' with the temp tats.

It would be more interesting to me (NASCAR) if the cars were more up to date. I find it funny that the current chassis is refered to as the Car of Tomorrow.
