You're speaking of Peyton Manning, we don't have a Manning we have a Flacco, who thinks the opposing team is his teammate. We fans will be going Wakko for some real tabacco this season. Why do we continue to overlook Troy Smith? Some of you will say okay Flacco has more start as I recall correctly Smith does know his team color. Harbaugh I hope you will open up the QB position again cause all of us fans will be at the AA meetings before the season comes to an end.

Who thought the Ravens were going anywhere this year? A rookie QB, new coaches everywhere and a road schedule from he**.

Give Flacco some time to figure out the schemes and accept the fact that the Ravens are in a planning session. For now let's beat the Steelers at home and shoot for 8 & 8.

"The year OUR Colts won the SuperBowl you people talked so much SMACK and treated us all like dirt and we still humilated you. Payback is a Mofo
Goooo INDY COLTS"

IndyRobin, I really don't think the Ravens talked 'smack' that year we played you in the playoffs. I believe that the Ravens did in fact respect the Indy offense and I remember Ray Lewis saying it was going to be a physical game; however, he talked no 'smack'!

The easiest lock of the entire NFL season is taking the Colts over the Ravens AT Indianapolis. Talk about a sinch? The line should have been 13 and every book knew it. Peyton Manning OWNS the Ravens and always has. The Ravens will never beat him at Indiannapolis as long as he is chucking.

Thank goodness the oddsmakers give us a game or two like this per year so we can load up for the 4:oclock games.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Let's!.....let's end the Fed Reserve too. Vote Ron Paul
Back to the Ravens! What happened to Chris Mac.? He gets torched by the Colts every year. I don't think he's very good for the past few years.
Dude, I am with you on Ron Paul. But please remember he has no hope in winning this election. This election is way too important to give up your vote. I like Paul better too, but we need McCain to win and not Obama. Please consider this.

C-Mack stunk it up, but played well this season up until today so I'll give him a break.

The Ravens players very well may not have talked smack, but The Ravens fans were quite hostile toward The Colt fans. That is to be expected when you go to the opponent's stadium, but it went way overboard. Anyway, I am not sure if he was referring to The Ravens or the Ravens' fans regarding the smack talk.

You're absolutely right! Back to football! I only bring it up because somebody has an "Obama" avatar.

I think you're a decent guy, but for you to continue to follow the Colts when they moved to Indy, is incomprehensible. Just my opinion, espeically now after Baltimore secured another franchise.

sorry, but troy smith needs to start as soon as he's healthy. flacco might be good enough to start in two years time, but he's going to end up being a broken player and a cautionary tale if he keeps up like this.

Just a hunch. You live in NY and root for the Colts and still claim to be a Baltimore sports fan, which makes no earthly sense at all.

Opening up the QB position would be a terrible decision and set us back. YOu have to have patience. Manning threw 28 interceptions his first year and he had Marvin Harrison to help him out. Where would the Colts be if they benched him after 5 games? Some fans are just plain dumb.

First, is Phil Simms the worst color analyst ever or what? If your not his preferred team, all he does is trash you the entire game. I don't think I have ever heard a positive word out of his mouth about the Ravens. Second, the announcers were praising the Indianapolis IDIOTS for stopping the Ravens defense. I noticed that on at least 80% of the plays, both running and passing, several of the IDIOTS offensive linemaen had both arms wrapped around the Ravens rushers.Of course they can stop the rush that way!
Did the Ravens play well? No, especially that bum McAllister, but the inept officials seem to forget where their flags are when the IDIOTS are playing!

Sorry if it makes no sense to you, but I started as a Baltimore Colt/Oriole/ and Bullets/ fan 38 years ago, and I still root for those three teams. I don't know what to tell you, except that most of the NY Giant fans that rooted for Willie Mays and company continued to root for Mays and The SF Giants when they moved. Same with Duke Snider, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale when they moved. Some fans defected to The Mets, but a lot of them stayed with The Dodgers and Giants.

Before everyone starts all of the negativity on Flacco, consider this, of QB’s actually playing in the NFL right now with more than 4 years of experience with the same team. In their first full season in the NFL – McNabb 5-11, P. Manning 3-13, Favre 9-7, Palmer 8-8, Romo 9-7, Brees 9-7, E. Manning 6-10. Flacco is 2-3 after 5 games. So let’s just give him a season like everyone else and see what happens. Flacco may not have had a good day, but I didn't see Flacco covering Harrison and Wayne, gee maybe he should have?

Dear Coach Hardhead: Tony Dungy here. Wanted to say thanks, thanks for putting that disgrace onto a football field and not even thinking of running the ball against the worst run defense in the league. You outsmarted yourself and had me and my superbowl winning coaching staff fooled you might actually run the ball with the vaunted 3 headed monster everyone said you had. Nope, instead you clowns let a rookie robot stand there and get drilled in between interceptions-smart!. Oh yeah next time we play what do you say we play tackle football and not two handed touch? I know you have Ray Lewis and Ngata who can play tackle but the rest?(Think about it) Oh yeah you may want to tell that nitwit Ozzie Newsome one good draft will not carry this team forever. Losers like Dan Cody, Mark Clayton, Yamon Figurs, Devard Darling, Kyle Boller, Dwan Edwards, etc. are reasons why you guys are the pits. TIP: Draft on necessity; secondary, pass rush, RECEIVER) not good schools, fast 40 times, neat names or whatever. Anyway Thanks again, Coach Dungy. P.S. You're receiving tight end almost got in the way of my defensive end on one play, I was so mad at him!

Yea and I am sure the Indy fans were acting like babies when manning went 3-13 in 1998. baltimore fans can either be the greatest fans in the world or the best fair weathered fans, just put a lid on it for while and lets see what the kid can do. And if he has a bad few games, I am sure we can put you in there for a few plays.

O Man i love it when i read comments and people use the "Flacco is a rookie, give him till next year." go up too ATL and watch Matt Ryan play pretty good rookie when you watch him. and another thing Flacco makes some bad throws he is just flat out bad if the guy has any chance to ever be good then take him out now. its Troy Smith time, the guy has a huge chip on his shoulder and i believe in the guy. heck if you dont want to start troy start the other guy he would do better then Flacco. he needs to sit
Terrible idea. Once you commit to a rookie QB like Flacco you have to let it ride and let him learn. Matt Ryan has the number one running back in football right now in Michael Turner and a couple of good young homerun receivers in White and Jenkins. Flacco has nothing. No matter who the QB is with our secondary and inability to run on the road it's going to be a long year. If they're going to make a change they need to sit McGahee and play Ray Rice. McGahee is done. Flacco got better as the game went on and they opened up the playbook. I know the Colts were playing back more but he was still very accurate with his passes. We also can't keep having guys come in unblocked. Corey Ivy needs to be cut. He can't cover anyone and was committing stupid penalities on special teams to kill our field position.
