Another command performance by Sorry-ano, and there's more to come: the Cubs are stuck with him for another 5 years. So when are the legions of Cub fans going to start beating the drum for Jim Spendry's resignation?

One more thing. Soriano... keep up that stupid panzy hop you make when actually catching a fly ball you putz! I can't believe pitchers don't drill him right in the back!!****!
They probably realize what a waste it would be to drill one of the easiest outs in the bigs in the back.

And while Dukes, Young, and some of the other names mentioned may be crazy; I find it hard to believe that they could reach the low depths of Soriano's frail competitive mentality.

I don't even know what to make of this article. I'll say this much though, Soriano would be far better off just not talking to the media, period. I know i'm just so sick of reading about these guys and their b.s. Are we supposed to feel better because Soriano no longer is mad, and now claims he has a clear head? Well that freakin clear head didn't do too much for dropping another pop up in the outfield. I'm also sick to death of reading how all these guys expect to turn it on soon. Talk is cheap imo, and until these guys prove they're more than just robbing the franchise, i'd rather they just shut the blank up.

The Cubs are either going to have to rid themselves of Soriano and Milton Bradley or find a doctor who can get their medications leveled out.

that's a great idea, sign Dr. Who.

He probably plays cricket better than baseball, but then it seems that most Cubs probably do as well.

"Alfonso Soriano says days off cleared his mind". Translation: He forgot how to catch a fly ball.

I keep waiting for Cub fans to start wearing grocery bags over their heads in shame. I guess they don't because it might slow down their beer guzzling.

Yeah, he may be a bum and this team may suck but with all that said your **** cardinals are only 4.5 games in front of the underachieving cubs. I know the Cubs are not what they were last year and they may be a joke this year but the real joke is your team is good and only has a 4.5 game lead over our debacle. It may be funny now, but it is a long season and anything can happen and don't worry I will be watching and reminding you the rest of the way!
I just wish the Cubs could be such an epic organization like the St. Louis Rams!!!!
P.S. Loser Cardinal Fans are not welcome here and it shows your loser **** has nothing better to do!!!
**** THE CARDINALS
I hate the obnoxious Cardinal fans, too, but I assume it is hard to be humble when you have won 18 NL Championships and 10 World Series in the last 100 years. MOVE OVER PITTSBURG, THE CUBS ARE COMING YOUR WAY.

I would be willing to bet that when his contract ends he will be old enough to join AARP. That is the thing about being born in a corrugated metal shack the only birth records are the stains on the tattered mattress.

So if a day off "cleared his mind," then just imagine the mental clarity he would achieve with a whole month off. Or a season?

The Cardinals have had their problems, too, but they're still in first. Glaus hasn't played a game, and they had Kahlil Green, Ankiel, Ludwick and Carpenter all on the DL at times this year. Face it, they don't make excuses like we do.

Cubs management doesn't really care what the Cubs record is. As long as they can sell all the seats they are making max $$$, a few extra for making the playoffs. As long as people continue to buy the seats & fill the stadium I don't see anything changing. I can remember my Grandpa cussing the Cubs back in the 50's! 60yrs later...same story!
