This is what the Phillies need, they play better chasing a team and being the underdog. They will return to the top. Go Phillies!!!!!!

I have to disagree, If you break the managers rules then you will not play. It has to be the same for everyone. How can Rollins be late for a game as big as this? I know when I have tickets just to watch, I am never late. Besides, Brunlett had 3 hits in his place so he was not missed in this game

Why did he not just take the bus? I could have given him a ride! C'mon Jimmy, this is your business! If I am late to a meeting, there is always a price to pay. As far as Charlie, I think you could have made your point to bench him for the first few innings! He is not the type that wants to sit on the sidelines.

Did Rollins not make it to the park by game time? That's one heck of a punishment...the afternoon off with $30,000 pay in exchange for a $50 late fee.

If you wanna punish the guy make him clean the toilets on the bus. Or at least fine him a day's pay.

It's quite obvious you know nothing about baseball. But we enjoy your presence and posts. Everyone needs a good laugh during the day so keep up the good work and thanks for the amusement.

Hold on Bonnie - why do you think they would have won with him in there? Bruntlett actually played better that Jimmy has in quite some time, including 3 hits.

I doesn't seem to matter how well our pitching staff ( with one major exception)is doing if the Phillies can't come up with key hits they are going to continue lose. Why wait for the last 18 games to pull out a division chamoionship when they are fully capable of being in 1st place and holding on to it. There is alot of talent that is being wasted, along with alot of huge salaries being paid to not get the job done.

You have to remove blind loayalty in some cases. Jimmy deserves to be sat down. He is not playing like he should, and he appears to have a poor attitude this season. Something is "off"..
