Troy beats Florida Atlantic, 30-17

Looks like FAU was too busy reading their last years press clippings... because they suck this year. Too bad , I had high hopes for them but they let last years wins really get to them and now they have sat back and think games are automatically "W"'s

Rusty looked so bad this game the fans were chanting Van Camp (backup QB)

This game broke my heart. Just when you think this team (and the school) is about to turn the corner in front of a national audience they go and make everyone look bad, twice. At least when FIU did it a few years ago, they actually fought Miami and looked somewhat respectable in dishing out some much needed whoopin's and even in that debacle they at least got their name on sportcenter. Now FAU gets to be "hey, aren't you the guys that got embarrassed on ESPN 2 twice in the same month." Just really REALLY bonehead plays and you can tell Rusty is falling apart like getting mad at his recievers when HE misses the target, before the recievers were dropping this ball, now he's just plain throwing wild.

I think Howard needs to put some fire under this team and probably bench Rusty the coming week, let everyone know that you cannot rest on last years accomplishments and expect other teams to just bow down to your superiority b/c you're a young up and coming team. There is still a dark and distant hope that everyone else will lose two conference games and maybe FAU could sneak in the backdoor but I don't even know if that is mathmatically possible now. FAU may have just wasted a HUGE opportunity for a lot of these upper-classmen and next year is going to be a lot worse.
