Did I get a sex change? Because I am not a guy. Therefore, also not a pindick, as I've been referred to by you in previous posts.

I'm not asking you to be afraid of me. And I'm not in the military full-time, so who is telling me what to do the other 28 days of the month?

Soldiers are capable of thinking for themselves, but in order to promote your arguement and liberal way of thinking, you need to promote us as brain-washed idiots with no other means of making a living.

Too bad this dim view doesn't fit with the reality of most American soldiers, who are multi-faceted human beings like everyone else.

A small percentage of America is being destroyed from within by people like you. Where are all those terriost since 9/11, that can walk right in? America has a lot of weak spots, lot of mistakes, but it always comes back and will keep coming back. Anyone that feels as you do about America needs to move just next door with anti american fidel. He would welcome you as long as you spew that kind of progranda.
And as long as your face is up Bush's backside, I guess you and your ilk will believe trying to take over the world is the answer to all of America's problems.

While we continue to pour billions into rebuilding Iraq, our own country is coming apart infrastructurally, economically, morally, socially, educationally, and critical areas of society are coming apart. If we don't pay more attention to AMERICA, and less attention overseas, eventually we won't know the difference between here and Cuba.

Ga boy, I wasn't at the head of the class, but those old Louisian schools i went to did teach you to read. They also taught, which I, at times, don't listen to, that all this name calling is useless, but if it make you feel better, keep at it. Now sir, you have a good day.
Apparently, those 'ol Lousiana schools you went to didn't teach you to tell gender by a person's name, did they?

Well, far as i know i don't have my face up any one's back side. I have never voted for the party. I vote for the man, woman. He has made many mistakes and possibly someone else could have done better. I don't have that answer. But when you look at 9/11, Katrina, Rita, etc, something had to be done, I am not sure what, I feel he made the best decesions, he could with the advisors he had. I do not not agree with all of them at all. I agree we are not in too good of a shape, but we have been in much worse. Americans always are raising hell about something, but usually in the end, pull enough of them togather to make a come back. Always has I believe that in my short time left, that they will again. I have been around a long time, been in some bad spots, some good ones, but have come a long way from my beginning and think America will too. Maybe we need to go back to world war I and become an a neutral country, but it did not work then and I don't think it will work now, but who knows. Now you have a good day.

Dream Theater when your IQ reaches 50......SELL !!!

Good, you shouldn't say anything about this soldier who died, but the fact of the matter is, this thread is about hm and his death not your little campaign against the war. So douche bag, try reading next time and save your anti war slurs for another thread.

You don't know national security moron, you don't know if we should be in this conflict or not. It's not a war either, it's a conflict. Congress declared an end to the war years ago, just because the news calls it a war, doesn't mean that's what it is officially called. Time for you to get out of those pampers and put on some big boy underwear, because all that shit in your diaper is affecting what brain cells you have left.

As a soldier we are taught to follow orders. Those orders come from people appointed above us to include the President of the United States who is referred to as Commander in Chief. If he gives the order, then we will shoot you dead. Simple isn't it. As a soldier for 27 years, if ordered to do so, I would have no quams about shooting you dead. It is not our concern about spending millions or if the war is just. We follow orders. I only hope you are not a soldier, because you wouldn't be a very good one. Sgt Maupin was an excellent soldier and a hero.

Trivia time. The Armas government in Guatemala, the Shah Pahlavi government in Iran, and the Pinochet government in Chile had three things in common:

(1)They were brutal, repressive dictatorships (at least as bad as Sadaam),

(2)They overthrew legitimate, democratically-elected governments, and

(3)They did so with the full aid and complicity of the U.S. government.

Don’t take my word for it, Google them for yourself.

And yet we persist with this outrageous lie that the U.S. government gives a flip about freedom, democracy, or ordinary people, anywhere in the world.

Matt Maupin was a tragic pawn of international business interests. There are thousands more just like him, and we keep feeding young lives into the machine.

When are we all going to wake up and get angry?

He did not just die. He was killed, and he knew he could be killed in the service of his country, yet he volunteered to serve. He volunteered to serve something important, the United States of America, with all its blessings and freedoms and pimples. When all is said and done, the USA is all that stands between human rights and subjugation to mullahs. If you've been to any Islamic state, you'd know how important the USA is to the future of civilization, and thus how important heroees like this young Sergeant are.

What in the world do you consider a hero???? What attibutes do they have to qualify in your sight? Sgt Maupin is more a hero than YOU will EVER be. Your heros are no doubt the kind that play sports, or make those x-rated movies. Britany, Hilton, Ellen, Shaq, Lance? THESE ARE NOT HEROS!! They haven't put their lives on the line for you or anybody! They're making millions $$$$ off people like you! Real heros, huh? They consider you just another sucker!
Sgt Maupin died for more than your freedom. Even though you don't want to see that. A hero goes beyound the call of duty. He was tortured, I'm sure they didn't give him a posturepedic mattess to sleep on. His food didn't come from Red Lobster or even MacDonalds! Let me see you give up any comforts for your fellow man! Your heros are cowards! Sgt Maupin died so you can sit on your fat butt and watch what you consider your heros on the TV!!!! You live in a such a fantasy world.
Shame on you! I don't think you would know what a hero was is it hit you in the face! if Sgt Maupin isn't a hero- no body is! Heros don't exist at all, if Sgt Maupin was one.

I do believe that is unusually nice of you to say that. You know those words sometimes sung to "Taps," Gone to Sleep, in the arms, of the Lord."
