I'm a long time Yankees fan and far from a fake fan as you put it. Your name calling makes you sound about 12 so I'll just ask you 1 simple question: Ever hear of team chemistry????? |

I hear you. Certainly his attitude is the only issue. A cancer isn't needed. But management has to at least CONSIDER it. "No" would be the obvious answer, but with that kind of talent, I wouldn't blame them to think about it. |
We don't need him. His age and physical condition make him a liability rather than a potential asset to this team. He can't play the field anymore, and can only DH. Who would you get rid of on the present team to make room for Bonds? |
|
Giambi came clean, and so did Pettite. In fact, from what I read, Andy only used it once, to help get better after being injured, which had no effect on his accomplishments over his whole career. The Yankees have swept both the A's and the Twins, and are undefeated since the All-Star Break. The hitting is coming along, and the pitching has been great. Why mess with success? Signing Bonds would be a sign of desperation, and most importantly, they don't need Bonds! |

Shut your trap don't you have to watch dancing with star tonight or something. Why are you talking sports like you're a man? This a man topic and that's not you. Bonds got pay to play ball that where it should matter to you fake fans. Get off that he needs to hug such and such oh and he used steriods. Some of you used drugs just because you thought you were cool and gain nothing but broke pockets. At least he used drugs to make millions while millions watched him. Now tell me of I'm lying?

If The Babe would have had as many at bats as Bonds, he would have hit over 1000 home runs. This was a stat flaunted when he broke then record. Nevertheless. Sign him, he gets on base, and this is where all legends come to die... The Bronx

If you think that you are a moron. Also, if you think the Yankees care, you are a moron. If he can hit, sign him. It's baseball, its not like you are bringing the guy home for dinner. |
|
I'm pretty sure he can hit better than .200 ala Brett Gardener or Jason Christian. Those guys have speed but they are terrible at the plate. |
