Seems to me that you guys are addicted with the same drug the Notre Dame fans were before they got waxed, but good. You're all in love with the publicity the sport pages are telling how great Ohio and the Big-10 are. But go back in the records and see how many times Big-10 team has beat USC anywhere. Take the Rose Bowl for an example, since the PAC-10 and Big-10 pact was fromed in 1947 to 2001 USC had appeared 19 times with 12 wins against 7 losses all against Big 10 teams. Ohio was in the bowl 12 times with 6 losses. So take your pick, but don't us this crap about how great the teams from the Big-10 are, thye don't play our brand of football as evidence by the record. Go to Google if you want verification of above.

And who was talking about conferences on here?
And you must be about stupid to lump Buckeye fans with ND on this thread.
The points you brought up have nothing to do with this thread moron. So close your little cheat sheet that you regurgitate all you posts off of and piss off. And no, Broadway Joe won't be here to save you newbie.
And comparing me with ND fans is just about as ignorant as you can get.
Thank you for your pleasant remarks. You sound like a real educated and a gentil gentleman. Your language is so quaint, let's hear some more of that drival. And as far as being stupid, that is in the eyes of the beholder and your remarks do qualify you for first place.

Nice one SC grad. Always looking in the past and disregarding the CURRENT facts. If you know anything about college football, you would know and agree that both the Pac Ten and Big Ten are great conferences. It is the Trojan high horse that the fans and the team are on that's going to make them lose if they end up in the NC in Jan. I'm not saying UCLA will win, but seriously.....handle them first.....and then maybe come back. Oh, and check your spelling next time SC Grad.

The USC vs. Ohio State Rose bowl match-ups have some beautiful memories for a lot of people. My parents met at the 1969 Rose Bowl when O.J. Simpson was having a banner year for the Trojans. The Buckeyes went on to win 27-16 and soon after another Buckeye was born. Growing up, the two teams Ohio State played were Michigan than USC, or so it seemed. This will be another EPIC battle, good luck against UCLA.

Dear sir, I would like to call upon you and your brilliance the next time we are talking of Heismans, that you indulge us meager folks on the fine art of why ND let the grass grow long for it's game with USC. I'm sure with your mere presence that your report will make the topic completely relevant to the previous conversation. My apoligies dear sir.
Any time, it is a pleasure to address an audience as receptive as you purport to be, setting aside your outward contempt. As for the art of growing grass I offer you the expert--Charlie Weis

I must confess I know a little about college football, but probably not as much as you, I had several All-American football players in my Frat House who showed me which end of the football went north. Thanks for the critique on my spelling, I took notice of some transposed letters--I'll be more careful in the future not to upset the sensitivity of others. I do agree that both Conferences are top rate with fine schools participating. UCLA is always a problem and could present an upset, if SC plays as poorly as they did against Oregon State with four turnovers.

Timeout Peeps, my buckeye brothers..and this here USC fan. I have interacted with all of you and I think we can improve upon this interaction. I believe OSU is going to win very much so because of Tressel's coaching and the speed on defense and offense I think is a slight advantage to OSU. You're right there is an awesome history of Pac-10 vs Big 10 and i'll admit because of the stubborness of the Big 10 not using a passing game the Pac 10 did mop the floor with some f those teams. OSU I think has the best record in bowl games of the big 10. Which I'll also admit is not that good. But that's the past things have changed Tressel ahs adopted a very complicated strategy that's hard to defend. This is a different time.
USC fan my Buckeye Brothers will always defend their team passionately and sometimes be rude but don't take it personally. I respect your team and fans and hope after this post it can be a little more polite lol.

Thank you for you intelligent observation. Some times we all get a lttle hot under the collar when there is a cheap shot. I'm looking forward to the UCLA game and if SC is successful then we can go at it in a more friendly and civil way. I'll reserve my posting till after the USC-Ohio game if it comes off. I think all this hypothesizing about who's the best team is truly a waste of time--that's why the game is played--to determine the best. tchaticing

Clean up your language it is unbecoming from one who "love dem bucks" Re. your caustic comments about my football, I suggest you check with my frat brother Frank Gifford (an All American) who played a little with the New York Giants, since you know so much about football. You like so many of your ilk shoot your mouths off just to hear your own voices.

Yeh! What does that have to do with football? You love character assination and have a very small brain--if you might recall you claimed I never played football and now you want to change the subject to castigate a friends personal life. I don't condone what he was accused of doing. Apparently Cathy has forgiven him as to my knowledge they are still together. I'll bet you voted for Bill Clinton, you know the guy with Monica and I'm sure you were outraged with his deportment---sure you were!!

My apology, my response was uncalled for. It was another brave sole that questioned whether I knew what a football was. At least politically we apparently think alike. I agree with you,Frank made his own problem, but I don't feel it is incumbant on you or me to take him to task at this late date for something occuring a few years ago. I don't know all the circumstances regarding his problem and I doubt you do either--we only know what we read in the tabloid sheets and they are not noted to be completely trustworthy. I'm not trying to infer nothing happened, but what's reported in the MSM is always open to question. Cheers and Have a good day.
