Concerning the backup QB. Currently McElroy has the #2 spot. We will see what Star can do before Aug 30. Aug 1 the team got off to a slow start as expected but by the end were hitting on all cylinders. Julio looked great as did Earl Alexander. In the pass sprint drills John Parker was an incredible 9 for 9, McElroy was 7 for 9. Not bad. This is a reciever in double coverage. Last year JWP was 5 for 9 in ths drill. As it currently stands McElroy (Tex) is a solid 2nd.
