Agreed - the one who truly started the slide was Wanny - he took this franchise down in 3 years Saban and Cameron were the exclamation points. We finally have the pieces in place to reestablish this franchise. It will be much sooner than later. Beat the stinking jets!

Bill Parcells has now gained my respect! It's about time we let go of that loser! IMO, this move is long overdue. TD was a waste of space on our roster and one key reason why our secondary struggled.

Of the 5 draft choiceds only 2 will remain with the team. It was a lousy draft. Ginn probably will get injured and his career will last 5 years, the center is serviceable but he isn't no pro bowler. He'll probably be replaced by a good rookie by the time his contract is up. No pro bowlers unless you count 5th alternative Ginn from last year. Oh I forgot that was for special teams 5th alternative of the AFC. Lousy draft. F minus. I can't blame Cam on this either because he came in and he had a coaching staff already assembled and a front office that thought they were the best. This was Muellers fault, did anyone notice how Parcells changed scouting services after the draft.

I remember when that song came out for the Dolphins and was later adapted for the Oilers.

the fins are in full rebuild mode, they won't get anything for beck,he is to old at this point and just can not catch up to full game speed. just keep collecting those draft picks and use them smartly.

I somewhat agree with you. Additionally, before he was fired, the Dolphins had something like $35 million in cap space to play with this season. That second round pick he got for Chris Chambers became Chad Henne who has looked very good this season and may well be Miami's QB of the future. I'm not sure I like the Joey Porter signing though. The jury's still out on that. I think Mueller was really in a no in situation. He was GM UNDER Saban, but Saban made all the decisions. Mueller was GM in name only. Basically, it was Saban saying, "this is the guy we're signing or drafting. Randy, go take care of the details." Last year, Mueller's only year he really had GM power, ended up being year 1 wit a rookie head coach and when things fell apart, he took much of the blame, for right or wrong. In any case, I really like what the new regime has done with the situation they were handed. They seem to have drafted really well, played free agency masterfully, and after two great preseason games, this latest a shutout for the entire 4 quarters. the team looks to show marked improvement this year over last season.
