Make 75% or more of your free throws Magic and you should win the game. If you did that in the past games ... you would be up 3-1 not down 1-3. Plain and simple!

This just in: Orlando is down 3-1. "Crybaby" Rasheed Wallace and the rest of the bigs have shut down your superhero. Jameer wants to be Sheed, what with the guarantees and all. Just face it- this rivalry isn't much of one just yet. Your time will come, soon; but for now, at least show some class while you guys get beat. Van Gundy's been doing more crying than that ridiculous Rasheed thing the idiots running this thing put up; and the picture of the sign from Game 4 is completely classless. I don't know about the people in Orlando, but the people running this website sure have no class.
This has been a fun, entertaining series thus far; let's try to keep it that way, shall we?
Pistons fans talking about class is rich. If you were at game 4 in Orlando and watched the way the transplant Detroit fans heckled the Magic fans after the game it would give you a much better idea of the nature of the Piston fans. I can see how you would still like your old team but how about showing some "class". A Magic fan would have to be insane to pull that crap in Detroit.

"We've been down before, and we always came back." Really? 0-4 last season, gonna be 1-4 this season. Just give the Pistons the key to the city, cause they own the Magic, always have, always will.

Just add the rest of the starters along with Howard to this post and It could be voted "Most Intelligent" post of the season!

The major problem with your position is if we did that, we would have to go through the learning process all over again. Most NBA teams wish they could be 3 deep at the PG position. Being a PG is not a matter of sticking a new body out there. It takes years to integrate one into a system. NJ and Dallas did a PG switch and both became poorer teams. It is not something you do quickly. You also fail to see the improvement Jameer, Carlos, and Dooling have made over last year. I have noticed that most of the real negative posts about Jameer come from those who want to see Carlos play more. I use the same argument against him I use against the JJ crowd. If he had earned the playing time, he would be playing. Both Evans and now Gortat are playing because they earned their roles and have taken minutes away from those that havent earned them. Carlos has been with several NBA teams and its the same story, he is a solid backup but thats all he is. If he leaves and goes to another team that is what he will be, a backup and then you can cuss out that coach too. It wont change.
Bob tends to forget the number of articles over this year saying how great JJ was doing and that he needed minutes and that they needed to get him those minutes...this was also the case with Otis.
They went with the backups like Evans & Bogans who will also (only ever be backups.)

At practices JJ showed over and over again he was the better player and at least deserved a shot with this team...he was also told over and over that the coaches agreed with that.

I said when Otis made the Cook-Evans trade JJ was doomed with this team. The sooner the Magic lose the sooner he can go play golf... and await his trade.

He doesnt need to be playing for misleading, tell him one thing and do the other bunch of liars!

Maybe it's just that prevalent in the league, at LEAST they could have let him have a chance instead of beating him down.

Good bye Magic...Hey? Didn't Billups use to sit at the end of the Magic bench?

Orlando Magic... this is your last chance to prove you can beat the Detroit Pistons and if you win then the next game would be your last chance too. After that it would be tied and you know what? You go out there and win. Just play good basketball. Magic need the passion. It's just a ball. Put that thing through the net!

What you are seeing are real fans of a large market proffessional sports team. Its called pride there is no lack of class in that. Orlando has fair weather fans. When the Magic lose tonight you will all toss them away like this mornings newspaper......until they start to win again next year. Orlando might have a better chance to win tonight if you had fans like the pistons do and showed up at the palace showing some magic pride.

Did you hear the fans chanting "Detroit Sucks" in game 3? Classy. Let's see if we hear that tonight. Bet we don't.

The good news for the O's is that the Pistons have let games get away after jumping out to a lead. The bad news is that CB will almost certainly not play-why bad-because the backups have something to prove and will be wholly engaged in the game start to finish. Same as last game. Best news you could get is that CB is in the lineup. Aside from that - the O's are saying all the right things but the first time they fall behind they will probably pack it in. I cannot believe that they ALL think they can beat this team four straight - the doubt will surface sometime during the game and when it does...

There was one article talking about JJ in practice and it said that Bogans can just blow by him.

So if Bogans is able to abuse JJ in practice, what would happen on court against Rip?

Bogans and Evans offer the same offensive abilities as JJ, they are both good shooters, Evans is more of a slasher/cutter and works hard on the offensive board and works well with Dwight on the court, all of which is what got him the starting job.

But yeah, you've got your pink JJ glasses on (is that an English expression? we use it in Germany quite often, so pardon me if you don't know what it means).
