Orlando's players believe they can win

Dwight Howard ended his workout Monday at RDV Sportsplex with a light-hearted, 3-point shooting contest against rookie backup Marcin Gortat, who proceeded to remind him that he belongs on a different part of ...

they could easily be up 3-1 instead of down 3-1. The Magic get too complacent when they have a big lead and its cost them a fair share of games all year. They lack that killer instinct. I hope they don't get a sizable lead, because they will just start trying to pad there stats (and miss bonehead shots) the rest of the way. They have the talent to force a game 7, i just don't know if they have the expierence to do what it takes to get it done.

The Magic will win only if they play Arroyo big minutes. Jameer sucks. We will lose if he plays. Its time to play the true leader. You hater need to realize for the true PG is.

apparently you have not watched any of the games this season,
Magic will win, and if they dont its all good, they have far exceeded expectations, and are still young and growing as a team

This just in: Orlando is down 3-1. "Crybaby" Rasheed Wallace and the rest of the bigs have shut down your superhero. Jameer wants to be Sheed, what with the guarantees and all. Just face it- this rivalry isn't much of one just yet. Your time will come, soon; but for now, at least show some class while you guys get beat. Van Gundy's been doing more crying than that ridiculous Rasheed thing the idiots running this thing put up; and the picture of the sign from Game 4 is completely classless. I don't know about the people in Orlando, but the people running this website sure have no class.

This has been a fun, entertaining series thus far; let's try to keep it that way, shall we?

Yes you got it, they lack killer instinct and experience. If game 4 taught them anything, get a lead and then put the screws on. If they do that in game 5 watch out because they do have the talent to win game 6 at home. I have read several blogs, SI, Foxsports, etc. where piston fans are saying they would not want to meet us next year with a year's experience under our belts. They are smart fans, they understand this, where as many on these blogs thinks its personnel or the coach or management. If the Magic get a lead and then show killer instinct and not let up we are coming back for game 6. I do not believe the Pistons can beat us twice on our home court. Once you get to game 7 the Magic will have to learn a whole new world to the playoffs. This is going to be a war tonight. Go MAGIC!!!

Instead of practicing 3's with Gortat, he should be shooting foul shots with Redick.

Without a better Point Guard the Magic will go no where. If the magic can get a few guards this off season (seris is over), and another banger down low they could be a pretty tough team next year

Too damned bad the prima donna's weren't "up to winning" the 2nd half of the last game or we'd be going to Detroit on an even footing. It is a bit tough to come back 3 to 1 now. Not quite ready for prime time "Tragic" fall on their keisters once again due to lack of effort when it is needed the most.

Howard needs Marcin Gortat in the court to help him fight for rebounds and defend the paint. Hedo can play 2 guard and defend Hamilton but SVG is too by the book to try anything new so the magic will lose to detroit using the same formula.

How about that play Vangundy drew up with 8 seconds the other night. That guy sucks as a coach and have hurt the magic this year. They could have made it this far without a coach. Brian Hill was aweful too, but at least he had some plays in timeout situations. SVG is more qualified
for the "fat man" job running arund waving a flag, then he is a coach. All you have to do is listen to the guy speak, he is an utter moron like most that post here. They won't win whith that fake.

Sereno:If Hedo play S Guard and defend Hamilton, this guy is going to score more than 30 points. Why? Because Hedo is a poor defender. You see what happen to Kenyon Dooling defending him. No way!!!

Even the opposition can see what we need.

If we win tonight great! If we loose, it's ok too PROVIDED we go down with every player fighting every minute of the game for every rebound and loose ball with zero turnovers - of course if we do that we WILL win!!

The major problem with your position is if we did that, we would have to go through the learning process all over again. Most NBA teams wish they could be 3 deep at the PG position. Being a PG is not a matter of sticking a new body out there. It takes years to integrate one into a system. NJ and Dallas did a PG switch and both became poorer teams. It is not something you do quickly. You also fail to see the improvement Jameer, Carlos, and Dooling have made over last year. I have noticed that most of the real negative posts about Jameer come from those who want to see Carlos play more. I use the same argument against him I use against the JJ crowd. If he had earned the playing time, he would be playing. Both Evans and now Gortat are playing because they earned their roles and have taken minutes away from those that havent earned them. Carlos has been with several NBA teams and its the same story, he is a solid backup but thats all he is. If he leaves and goes to another team that is what he will be, a backup and then you can cuss out that coach too. It wont change.
