I am questioning about Trojan football..........
Can somebody answer honestly? What is the program I hear about with the point system? Can anyone explain what the coach's requirements are for the try outs and stuff? How is he making the decisions on who makes the team, and who plays? Does anybody know?

Don't forget, coach blamed "strength". WE NEED MORE WEIGHTS! We need a new weight room! More, much mor time spent in the weight room.

After all, coach only makes $70,000 a year and NEEDS the OVERTIME!

71 yards in total offense? I think that is more than just a strength problem though. That is shameful.

This is a serious question from a CASHS alum. What IS wrong with the Trojan football program? It has been so many years since there was an even-respectable team and record, so there has to be something wrong. It can't be lack of talent, because you can't tell me there are never any decent players in the district. So what is it? Looking at the last few years, there is no way the Trojans belong in the league they are in. So what is the answer?

I didn't read the article but Kilpatrick is no stranger to being thrown out of places. Don't sugar coat it. He probably lost his cool and did something stupid. Lets see if the coach has a spine and does something about it. Blowout or not, you can't have kids doing stupid stuff. Grow a set and deal with him. Plenty of good character kids out there willing to play.

After reading the article, carruthers should be on the PR staff for the district with the other one because he puts a nice spin on things!!!!!!!!!

You should have decided to seperate the town into 2 different districts. Then they would each be small enough to drop down a level, but the new question would be: Would you have enough players to field 2 teams?

That kid went off the field a couple of times with a bad attitude. NOT ONE coach approaced him or said a word to him regarding his behavior and lack of respect. His big mouth is what caused him to be ejected. He wouldn't shut up or calm down.

Was there...thanks for the info. They should boot him. They'll lose either way so I'd rather it be done with good character kids representing chambersburg instead of thug nation. What did he say or who was it directed to? Coaches or officials? I figured he'd have went off and beat the tar out of someone from the other team.

It was towards officials. He said something after the play was over. Then came a flag, he turned and said something else, then came another flag. AND yet not one coach spoke with the boy. Sad really, the men are being paid to coach and yet have zero concern for how Chambersburg football is represented.
