If,and that's a big if, Mr. Vick is a law abiding taxpayer, it should be easy to find out how much he has given family and friends. Anytime you give more than about $11,000 (I forget the exact amount; it changes every year) you are required to declare the gift with the IRS for purposes of gift tax. If he did this, the IRS could tell the court how much he gave away. If he didn't do this, he should be charged with tax fraud.

Yes Vick made some BADDDDD and very dangerous decisions, but he has and is owning up to the responsibility for his decisions. EVERYONE deserves a second chanced and so does MIKE. Enough Already!!!

This hasn't a think to do with a Second Chance for Vick.

Enough Already!!! Owning up? I would think that being forced to take a plea bargin because the three main members of your posse sold your sorry ass down the river and the thought of facing Ricco charges with possible 25 years is far from owning up to anything. Mikey Vick can be defined by one of his very own statements. "I dont care what they say, everybody loves me". Well, my good man, you found out that false love based on money and athletic fame is very fleeting and controlled by whim and who is the big man today. Mikey Vick, great athlete, below average pro quaterback and definate loser as a person.

Enough Already!!! He hasn't and isn't owning up to anything. He denied and lied about this whole thing from the very beginning even blaming "friends and family" and didn't take the plea bargain until the Feds had him backed deep into a corner and his lawyers told him the realities. The degenerate hasn't taken responsibility for a damn thing. He has been forced to do everything and hasn't had a choice. Even now, from prison, the moron continues to blame his problems on the people he associated with, not himself, and minimizes his subhuman behavior as a "mistake". Now, it seems, his "mistakes" are going to affect more than just himself and will include his family now. I guess that's a good thing, seeing as how the maggot has been blaming his friends and "family" for his scum like behavior from the very start. But you know all this, right?:-) The POS will get his "second chance" you jocksniffers love to wail about so much AFTER he has spent his time in prison. Much will be learned about this POS's character, values, and integrity after he gets out of Leavenworth and I guarantee, it's not going to be any surprise. Just look at the felon's past history, and that was when he had the world in his hands.

Second chance? Try third, fourth, fifth or even sixth. I agree with "USA Rocks"; he has had numerous chances to "man up" yet he CHOOSES the coward's route.... blaming everyone else because he didn't know what was going on. No one is that bloody stupid and no one should be falling for his act. When this is all said and done in 5, 10 or 20 years from now, he'll be having the last laugh all the way to the bank because of his supporters. And society isn't screwed up??? Yeah, right.

When are you people going to smell the stench of this rotten egg? He is what he is. A hundred chances won't change him. It's time to dump this sadist and find a more deserving idol.

If he's your definition of a nice guy there's something seriously wrong with you.

You know it's ashame that people only recognize only the bad he has done. No one speaks of all the good he has contributed, all the donations to churches he has built, all the hospital bill of children he has paid for, all the poor people he has helped out with, all the donations to people starting small businesses, all the charities he has donated, all the non-profits he helped, and anyone that has been on hard times he has helped out, he gave millions to many organizations way before he was even charged. No one has spoken out for him, and that's a shame. This guy will help anyone out that truly needed it, but you ignorant people don't recognized that. There are larger issues than this, babies and soliders dying daily in a war we don't belong in and many other issuse that is spoken about that going everyday, and here we are dowing a guy already that has lossed everything and you still dumping on him.

I don't care what all you jerks and idiots and racists say, it's wrong to confiscate money that Mike Vick gave to his family even before he was remotely in trouble. If that's really the law, that is ridiculous. Common sense would dictate that if you give money to someone else, even if it's your mother or brother, that that money instantly becomes theirs, not yours, and no one, not even creditors, should able to come in and take it back. That is stealing where I come from. This is a feeding frenzy on the estate of a man who, yes, made some serious mistakes. But he's paying for those mistakes now. The sheister lawyers shouldn't be able to line their greedy pockets with money he gifted to his family.

And for you info a lot of the so call facts in this case aren't true, but exaggerated by the press to sale more copies of papers and boost rating on tv shows. No dogs won't starving, most of the dogs haven't seen a day in the ring that why soo many were placed in new homes. They reported that the dogs were electrocuted, hung, or drown becuase those are how most dog fighters get rid of dogs in most cases, But this case hasn't proved how those dogs were put down. No one speak out about racing dogs or race horse that put down daily when not winning a race. Greyhound even when winning may only have a 2-4 year life span and get shot in the head to make room for more dogs.

What have you done that is so heinous that you feel unjustified to be able to express contempt for what the degenerate vick has done? I don't know about you but I have never fought, killed or tortured any living thing for fun and amusement so if I want to express outrage and contempt for what this POS did I damn well have a right. If you want to "turn the other cheek" until a maggot like this pummels you to death, feel free. Normal people who know what reality is will handle it for you from here on out. Tomorrow is Sunday Elmer Gantry, go to church with your bible in hand and ask your minister if he feels God would approve of what vick and posse did to those dogs and if you are wrong to feel that he should be held accountable for it. Bible thumpers.......I guess they mean well.:-)
