Different sport but that is why they play the games.
8.ASU gets Georgia in their house in the hot dry dessert that is totally different than playing in hot wet humidity in the south.

First Tennessee gets whacked by:
the CAL Golden Bears last year 2007 & then they lose to Cal's step brother the UCLA Bruins 2008~!
Tennessee needs Davey Croket to teach the Vols how to hunt and kill bears because the last two times the Vols went out into the woods the Bears won LOL~!
I doubt very highly that Tennessee will be renweing and Pac-10 game commitments any time soon when they can just schedule Tennessee State, Missouri State, or Pittsburg State~!=)

2006 Florida
2007 LSU
Parity, my friend. It really doesn't matter if you believe the SEC is #1 or #2 because in the end you have to admit that no other top notch conference boasts similar parity with similar results; NCs, recent bowls wins, etc..
Yes, the PAC is tough, but I don't think you honestly believe that the PAC has SEC parity.
BTW The Big 12 has arrived imo.
