Smith Says Pats Will See Steelers Again

With just about everyone picking on Tony Smith again, I thought it was time to revive this neglected thread. I think most of us agree the #27 can be a player IF he wants to be. I've read where some of us believe he should move to SS. It might be a good move. I think Tyrone Carter needs to roll. Does anyone think that Tony Smith should be cut?

Good for you, Bill. I've been wondering what happened to this one. No, I wouldn't even consider cutting him this year, but I think he needs to do something beside just causing concussions this season.

Hey Rex. Thanks. I just wish he would begin the thinking process before its too late. The kid has all the tools to be a real player, but his decision making skills are for sure lacking.

decision making is the biggest asset for a FS! He needs to be able to see and react to the play and not let anyone get behind him. I think he is too aggressive at FS and would be better at SS (backup).

I think they will keep Carter to back up Troy. Carter knows the defense. Also doesn't Carter play in the dime defense? IMO the new guys will replace Carter soon. I like this new kid Mundy. The high ankle sprain is a real bummer though, they can take a long time to heal.

This is in no response to any person currently posting on the boards...but the Patriots DID cheat. And because of that, they had an undefeated season. They get to playoffs, faced a team that has desire and the will to compete and not just lay down. Jealousy or not...as an avid Patriots fan, you should be ashamed of even posting a single post on this forum. I can understand the other Patriot fans out there...the die-hard fans that have bit their lip over this past 6 months, waiting for the chance to make it right in 08. But you...You rub an undefeated schedule in everyone's face, even then they obviously couldn't beat a 3rd rate offense and a good defense.

If you put the Patties in a game against anyone in the AFC...ANY playoff team, after their tells were found, they would've fell in the first round. As it were, the Patties had enough cheating jokers up their sleeve to sleaze their way into the Superbowl.

Don't get me wrong...Brady (as much as I hate him) has a helluva offense around him. Maroney is only as good as the pressure Brady takes off him. And your defense is suspect at best. Its down time for you, Skidmarks. Expect a 12-4 season at best.
