I have been a cardinal fan all of my life and I am 60 years old. I came to St. Louis 3 years ago just to see the Cards play at home and not on the road in Pittsburg which is closest to my home. I love the Cardinals. I feel Albert is greedy. How much money does a man need to make sure his family is secure for life. 300 million dollars should do it.Why should I be loyal to him when he let the entire city and all Cardinal fans down. My heart was litteraly broken when I found out he signed with another team. This is a shame for all of baseball. When he goes into the hall of fame the Cardinal fans will not forget it. Remember what I say and I will be right.

Come on Ozzie, give the guy a break. You don't know how it feels to be a Cardinal fan and have this happen. I felt the same way as this guy does. I think that it is all about the money. The players don't care what the fans think. He's right. How much money does one need to live on?

I've won more games than you have. So, stick to your XBOX and leave the real game to the professionals.

I appreciate Pujols as a player and as a humanitarian. I can understand how Cardinal's fans can feel betrayed by Pujols.

I'd like to believe that "some" players do appreciate their fans in kind. However and unfortunately, I'm starting to think it really is all about the money for most.

And the fact that LeBron Pujols needs $250 million makes his betrayal much more a turn-off.

Ju sumadabich! I said dont call him that! Albert Pujols is the greatest player in the last 30 years not using steroids....at least there's no proof. He doesn't NEED $250 million..no one NEEDS $250 million. But, it sure is nice to have.

It's wrong to say that pujols did it only for money he said it himself he felt that it was the best place for him and his family to go. I agree that the money he was getting paid was good enough to raise any family but I have been a diehard cardinals fan for a long time when he left I hated him but honestly think would u pass up a 300 million dollar contract offer if any of u can honestly say no than u can talk but till then shut up and quit bagging on him. If u were a true cards fan u wud support the players decision no matter what

I agree wiff you my friend. Es no like he sign wiff thae Cubs or Brewers an now he's gonna be kickin there culo for da next 10 years. He left for California. If you live in St Louis, an ou win $250 million in da lottery, believe me you gonna think about leaving. No offense to St Louis...but you gonna think about it.

Albert may have felt that God told him to go to LA. If so, he was obedient to God. He uses some of his $ to help others. Maybe the extra money he got for going to LA will be used for such purposes.

I would pass up a 300 million dollar contract if it came from the Angels cause I don't want to be a team mate to Lebron Pujols. I'm a life long Cardinal fan and feel like a Cleveland fan. Thanks Lebron Pujols.

No you wouldn't. If they knock on your door today and hand you a check for $300 mil, you'll be in California flipping burgers for Albert.

Go fetch! Keep your apology. And your ladeedada.

I don't need to emasculate you again. Been there, done that.

You're a disappointment.

After posting with you for 4+ years, you regress into your vile and profane defense when you have nothing of value or worth to say.

Don't say nothing!

That would be like Derek Jeter going to play for the Red Sox.
He just wouldn't do it. He'd quit baseball before he'd play for ANY other team other than The New York Yankees.
Never see no Lebron Jeter, I know that's right.
