Hey Napoli...
6 times in history this happened...Its rare, very rare.
More rare then a triple play, more rare then a no-hitter, even more rare then a perfect game.
more rare then 4 homeruns in a game, and definitly more rare then someone actually caring what a no name,(who), Napoli, some catcher for the Angels has to say.
So he was happy, it was wierd...he is enthuseastic...so what.

Some advice...shut that trapper of a mouth you have and stop trying to take the emotion out of sports.

I agree Truth.. Napoli should concentrate on throwing the ball to the second basemen a little bit better and figure out how beat a team who had no hits..

Yes, dodger victories are rare.

Even more rare than Saturday is the likelihood of the Dodgers 'winning' their division with a losing record, as the NL West is a joke.

Now THAT I'm pulling for.

the winner of the NL West has a losing record. Right now Az is at .500 and is leading the pack.

Should the winner of that division have to play against the winner of the Triple A league for the right to continue? Kind of like the NCAA play-in game?

What a joke that division is.

the fall of the DODGERS is appropo of the changing of their fan base. El estadio de los doyers or Chavez Ravine has become a cesspool housing cretinous gangbangers disturbing decent people , urinating at their seats, smuggling in their 40's yelling obscene street gutter language and having open sex with their hideous hainas. DEPORT EM, ALL, and send the DODGERS BACK TO brooklyn!!

Napoli can kiss some Kemp A*s..
Kemp was excited and he was just expressing his joy for the win, We all metaphorically speak.
Like when you say "I feel like I won a Million dollars" doesnt mean I have, but it feels like it..
Kemp is one of the few that seem to be playing for the jersey rather than for a paycheck, to him a paycheck is a bonus. I dont know him, but I am sure he loves baseball for the right reasons.
Napoli, I hope you know that to some dodger fans your stupid little comments opened a can of whoop-A*s!!!

What the Dodgers used to be. A scrappy, tradition bound, win at all costs team. From Socsia on down, they play the game the way it was meant to be played. Best first to third team in teh league, agressive on the bases, and just plain fun to watch.

The pitching staff is among the best in MLB, and yes that was in evidence this past weekend. A no-hit loss for God's sake.

Dodger fans! The house that Koufax built is in disrepair! The McCourts have ruined your team. At least what was left of them after Fox took their turn.

For those of us in the SFV who grew up Angel fans, we are just fine with the fact that we have been recognized. I never understood the Autry's claiming to be a small market team in SoCal. There are 15 million people living within an hour of Angel Stadium

I took my daughter to spring training this year (she's 10), we ran into Arte Moreno who stopped what he was doing, wished my daughter a happy birthday and thanked her for being a fan.

He even signed her baseball and posed for a picture with her.

That is the mark of a class individual and a class organization. The McCourts should be taking notes.

OK, don't get me started about an LA team that has LA in it's name that's not even in LA County! Artie Moreno has done good for the team and the fans but you'd think if the fans were worth their weight in salt that they'd petition Artie to fix that. Next, I don't care if it's been 20 years, count the totals...since the orange county team began, the current totals of World Series Championships is Dodgers-5 orange county team-1. Yeah, they call the Dodger's division the Mild Mild West, but it's not like they aren't winning games. Yeah, there are some bad eggs at Dodger stadium but orange county's place is run like hitler is still alive. When the orange county team made it to October, there used to be a joke due to their lack of finishing as winners: What's the difference between Linda Lovelace (porn actress from Deep Throat) and the angels...they both s-u-c-k but Linda never choked on the big one!"
Go Big Blue Wrecking Crew!
and when was the last time the other LA team won a world series? the L. A. Angels just a few years ago.
BTW no one was whining when the L.A. Rams played in the same place.

I hope Matt Kemp enjoyed that because that's as close as he'll be getting to the playoffs on that mediocre team. The Doggies are a joke. But whatever floats Matty's boat.

"napoli is a career .230 hitter - batting .209 this year. hes the last guy on the angles that should be saying anything."

Yet Napoli is the only one on the Angels who has driven in a run in the last four games. Two runs in two days. I give him the right to blast away at Kemp and all the other classless Doggies.

Blah, blah, blah....When the Angels win more than 1 world series, then talk, otherwise, you`re blowing smoke...And lets not forget, it took EX DODGERS (manager and coaching staff) to get the Angels that "one" world series..

Again, ONE world series, and the Angels are great? When the angels get as many WS championships as the Dodgers, we`ll talk.. They will NEVER have the history, or the following the Dodgers have, never. Lets compare the History of both teams, or attendance, or players. Bottom line is, the Angels might have finished ahead of the Dodgers in the last "five" years, but they still haven't won more than ONE world series, they still don't have the attendance record, the history, the recognition, or the fan base The Dodgers have. And still, it took EX DODGERS to get them that one and only WS win, whether you like it, or not. Before Mike Scioscia, they weren't worth cr@p. The fact that we had Jim Tracy, is irrelevant. Lets talk about Terry Collins! At least Tracy was way better than him! I`ll admit the Dodger organization has made plenty of mistakes over the last 12+ years. But the angels will NEVER be considered an equal to The Dodgers......even with their lame "L.A." badge they try to tout....

Want history, they were the LA Angels in the pacif coast league and when they were playing at Chavez Ravine. Of course they don't have the history, they have only been in the majors since what 61? Attendance, thats cause all the mexicans buy the cheap seets and sit around getting drunk. The Angels have a much higher class of fans. What you want to ask your owner is "What have you done lately? Lets see dumped a loyal manager in Grady Little, signed the hall of famers Schmidt, Jones,Gpare, Sweeney, Man that helped, now the pluses, raised ticket prices, parking, food, beer, added seats and took away long time (25 yr plus) fans good seats. Lets see who the Angles picked up? Guerrero, Tori Hunter, Gary Matthews, Escobar. Yah your right much better team, hah how many games under 500 in the worst division in baseball? Keep wasting your money the parking lot attendant love you.

OK, lets compare those records over the last five years....

2007 Angels won their div, dodgers were 4th
2006 Dodgers won their division, Angels were 2nd
2005 Angels won their division, Dodgers were 3rd
2004 Angels won their division, Dodgers won their division.
2003 Angels were 3rd, Dodgers finished 2nd in their divisions.

Now lest factor in all the trades, and injuries for the Dodgers teams versus the Angels trades and injuries for those five years....big difference! Although, its not proof the Dodger should have done better, but the odds are they would have. So there is not a huge difference between the two for those five years, and neither won, a world series.

Well Matt is a great guy, came to my sons little league game & stayed the whole time, signed lots of authgrpahs, posed w/kids, answered ? & gave a 5 mni warning b4 he left- he is a class guy & should not be let go, tons of talent....
As to Napoli, gripes but to loose w/o allowing a hit, that gotta hurt
As for Dodger Stadium, the posters here are RIGHT, thugs have taken it over, look around & I worked here....gangville....shaved heads, cussing, no controls as Ushers no doubt fear getting capped.....I went to a Padre game in SD the only rowdy loud, obnoxious fans were from LA w/shave heads & white T-shirts, o/w a very different & family freisdnyl crowd & Mexico is next door so who can it be???? Hmmmmmm

Im` comparing Dodger history since they`ve been in L.A. just three years before your Angels team... The mexicans you speak of, sit in the paviliion seats, which are not a huge count towards attenteance, now are they?. Ive been to plenty of Angels games, and have seen just as many mexicans from near by Santa Ana, plus white trash at those games. Yeah, higher class of fans! LOL! There is more white trash at an angels game, than all the trailer parsk in Alambama! Lets not forget that under ".500" team took the series against your Angels. What happened there? LOL! Keep reaching. You just cant get over the fact that your angels are a "johnny come lately" team.
