Tonight's Game 5

I disagree that the Magic have to get out to a strong start. What they need is a strong FINISH; their start just needs to keep them in the game, with ENOUGH TIME TO REST FOR THE KEY PLAYERS WHICH IS NOT HAPPENING (averaging over 41-43 minutes). This is good both physically and psychologically as the Magic tend to go playground anytime they have a lead and don't play defense (as they did in game 4 in the 3rd Q). The idea of playing the big 3 the whole game is precisely what is killing us. Detroit is pulling it off when it counts, in the final minutes and our guys look fatigued because defending Detroit is a grind. COMPARE THE MINUTES AND YOU HAVE THE ANSWER. SOMEONE TELL VANGUNDY.

I for one do not think that this series is over. Should the Magic win tonight, their chances of winning game six at home are very good. A final game 7 in Detroit is not a bad position to be in with momentum on the Magic side. Stranger things have happened. I would not be so optimistic if Detroit were playing "lights out basketball". So far I am unimpressed with Detroit's play. The Magic have been their own worst enemy with turnovers and missed free throws. I'm not predicting the Magic win the series but I still would not be surprised. Go Magic!
