I'm a huge TITAN, as well as, a Steve McNair fan! That doesn't mean I idolize or hero worship him or any other famous athletes, contrary to the remarks on many forums, blasting anyone who chooses to take the high road & remember his many good qualities, rather than focusing on a very personal issue in his life that's none of my business, just as my personal life is none of anyone's business. So with that said, the things I enjoyed & respected about Steve, were many, including:

*THE HEART HE PLAYED THE GAME WITH
*THE SPORTSMANSHIP HE HAD
*HIS TOUGHNESS
*HIS LOVE OF THE GAME
*HIS LOVE OF FAMILY, ESPECIALLY HIS MOTHER & HIS WIFE (YES HE LOVED HIS WIFE, THOUGH WE ALL HURT THE ONES WE LOVE, SOMETIMES)
*THE MENTOR THAT HE WAS, NOT ONLY TO HIS TEAM MATES, BUT TO THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN
*THE INCREDIBLE HUMANITARIAN
*THE INCREDIBLE, VERSATILE, ATHLETICISM THAT MADE HIM SUCH A THRILL TO WATCH
*HIS HUMBLENESS
*HIS GENUINE NICENESS
*ALL THE GOOD THINGS HE DID FOR NASHVILLE & THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES
*THE ENTERTAINMENT HE PROVIDED US
*HIS SMILE
Yes, I admired the man. He was a gentle giant that never stopped giving, not only money, but of himself & that's a rare find in anyone. I'm a native of Nashville who loves & supports all our Titans & Coach Fisher. I'm not a fair weather fan. If I love you, I love you through the good & the bad. Steve wasn't perfect. Neither am I & neither are you. He's just a man. But he was a good man & his sin doesn't erase that.I'll miss that man! Thanks for all you gave us Steve! I hope you were saved & I hope to see you in heaven & if there is football there, I hope you're the quarterback!

NOW, I'M JUST ASKING...
WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE ALL COULD SEE SIN AS SIN, LIKE GOD DOES & NOT PUT DEGREES ON IT & SAY WHICH SIN IS WORSE THAN ANOTHER?
WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE ALL QUIT JUDGING PEOPLE & LEFT THAT JOB TO GOD?
WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE ALL UNDERSTOOD THE TRUE MEANING OF GRACE & MERCY (SOMETHING THAT WE DON'T DESERVE, BUT THROUGH GOD'S LOVE, IS FREELY GIVEN WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED) & WE SHOWED OTHERS THE GRACE & MERCY THAT GOD SHOWS US?
WOULDN'T IT BE SAD IF WE WERE ALL JUDGED SOLELY ON OUR SINS & NOTHING ELSE COUNTED, IN OUR LIVES?
A FAMOUS PERSON ONCE SAID "IF YOU CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT THINGS, THE THINGS YOU LOOK AT CHANGE."
WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF WE COULD ALL LOOK AT EACH OTHER THROUGH "GRACE TINTED LENSES."
I'M JUST ASKING...
MY HEART & PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL THE FRIENDS & FAMILIES INVOLVED IN THIS TRAGEDY. 2 PEOPLE ARE GONE & A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE LEFT HEARTBROKEN. FOR THE ONES LEFT BEHIND, MAY EVERY SUNRISE HOLD MORE PROMISE & EVERY MOONRISE HOLD MORE PEACE.

God has a lot to say & all you have to do is read his book. It's been a best seller every year since it was written. It's good stuff & will help you with all that anger & hurt you are feeling.

Im not feeling any anger or hurt, seems to me you folks need to obey what you read and stop sinning with such a lame excuse.

Something or someone has hurt you deeply. You are full of pain. It is very obvious. I am so sorry for whatever you are going through.
