But look at brady. Never really had the kind of receiving core indy had and has 3 superbowls. They are both great quaterbacks but the fact is brady has done more with less. did you watch him this season harrison out the whole year with wayne and moorehead and all those and still have better stats except tds than brady. manning built his team from 3-13 to a superbowl team. did u forget brady was given the job because of drew bledsoe's injury. he might not even be playing if bledsoe was still healthy

Robert Horry has 6 NBA rings is he the best forward of all time????? Trent dilfer has a ring is he better than Marino who has 0?

Cssie ur wrong. they r not good friends at all. infact, they wont even shake hands after a game. ive been a colts fan for the last 9 years. wen peyton manning came from college. ive been tryin to decide who is better. and ive decided after reading many different arguments, that this is a uncomparible thing. its all about who u like more. for me its peyton manning, so for all of u who say 1 is better than the other, that is UNTRUE.

Couldn't agree with you more. There is no comparison. Brady is far superior to the blow-hard Manning. Facts speak for themselves and when all is said and done, the homos who wished they were the ones who Manning t-bagged in college will see the light, or maybe not... LOL.

Tom Brady is way better than Peytons bitch ass. Peyton cries too much. Brady has more rings more superbowl wins more wins regularly. Most importantly hes been to the superbowl more

peyton wins in stats overall well isn't Tom's 2007 better than peyton's 2004 well peyton still wins in passer rating, yards per attempt, completion, and has had less attempts in both thier magical seasons rings matter but there's far more to a Qb then how good his team is this is a quote from montana quote: we had the rings, marino had everything else so rings aren't everything recent years ignore the fact that manning has had no offensive linemen or his star wideout but im not ignorrant enough to say he outperformed brady personal abillities brady is a great clutch, and tighter spiral, a tad faster manning has a stronger arm, master of the play action, more accurate, and actually changes up the play, and is a tad bigger and stronger bottom line it's close but i at many other say manning won

The list is too long to mention at this time. Thus, I think this argument is better served to be discussed on a later date when both careers are OVER and who prevails with the Numbers which will tell who ranked higher than the other. In either regard, both will go down in the Hall of Fame; and a great rivalry, for the tiem being, to say the least. Good times to be an AFC Football fan (either Indy or NE). Time will tell as history will speak for itself over speculation.

but it depends what u think a good qb is?
do u compare side by side seasons and award a point for each season? the accuracy and velocity of thier arm? thier peak? thier rings? thier overall stat careers?
manning wins in 3 brady wins in 2
but there is a lot of extra such as how good a clutch, qb intellegence, scrambling ability, and many others
so far i think manning has won but: if manning wins another ring and breaks all those records(which it seems like his destined to) i don't think 4 much less 3 rings can overshadow that and as for brady 5 rings or maybe even 6 u know it's over and brady's the best ever
but whoever wins this will be the best qb ever even better than bradshaw and montana

but honestly i think manning has clearly won i gave the peak to brady but i look at it and can't say brady clearly won some say it's all about the rings well think about this: my friend made a fantasy team in madden 08 his qb was drew brees
his team was dominate but drew brees wasn't the best qb but he was close do u ever think and say that might be possible in rl

I completely agree with bboobbyy. This is about comparing the 2 QB's not the teams. Rings are won by teams, stat's are achieved by individuals. Also, Peyton has the stats without going after them. In 2004, the Colts weren't trying to run up the score throughout the season, so Sorgi, the backup QB played in 4 games had 175 yards and 2 touchdowns. Peyton only played one quarter of the last regular season game. Imagine if Peyton had played all games in their entirety that year. Might I add Sorgi had more touchdowns that year than he did this year (only 1). How many yards and touchdowns did Cassel have this year? I honestly don't remember him completing a pass and I know he didn't have a touchdown. You probably don't remember either, he was pulled almost immediately after being put in each time. Brady played almost every minute of every game. So in reality when Brady broke Manning's record it was almost an illusion. Manning has more touchdowns/minute played, and that is something no one will ever come close to. Btw, Marino's backup didn't play much and didn't have any touchdowns in '84 either, so the TD/min really would be Peyton's.

Very true and agree totally with your point, and for the guy you responded to saying he's a die-hard Colts fan, if he truly were he wouldn't down manning so flatly, and this must be an old article cause Manning did win a ring 2 years ago and according to him Manning hadn't. The fact is Brady was surrounded by a better team his whole career, Manning has been the better QB all along. Rings are a TEAM measure, not a measure of the QB. If the QB was end all be all of a team, the Bears would have never been in the 2006 SB. The team made it there in spite of Rex!
