I think in this day and time with all the technology this is bound to happen but why can they not carry live broadcasts of the events? Also I would like to have the option of seeing different events but where can I do that? I don't Twitter or use Facebook. Don't like them. Also NBC has done its fair share of gaffs as well giving the results of an event that was just taking place. I also think it is a shame that so many people wanted tickets to events and could not get them and now they are free to military, school children and I guess any living thing. Such a shame......

That's the thing. Why not broadcast live during the day then repeat at night. They do it all the time with professional sports having several replays a night. In this day of technology and light speed access to news most will purposely avoid media IF they really want to surprised ooops ment entertained.

To me the Olympics are just another saturated media sporting event.
