Did M Wiliams get both his sacks over Long?

M. Williams didn't get either of his sacks against Jake.

As average as our receivers are, we have averaged 26 points per game for the last 3 games. I rank our need at corner & safety even higher.

It kills me that we spent 1st round picks on WR and corner/safety in 2 of the last 3 drafts and those are STILL are biggest need areas.

What, did all you guys think we were going to the superbowl this year?

Hello? Rebuilding? Takes more than a year?

We had a solid draft, first time in years thanks to this new regime. We need two more solid drafts before we are truely contenders.

If management knows this, then why don't they trade for Roy Williams or sign Asante Samuels in the off season. Dumb personel is all I have to say.
It's called "Don't mortgage your future".

This team needed a complete roster make over and you don't want or need to overpay or give away draft picks LIKE THE PREVIOUS REGIMES!!!!!

So what's your solution Greg? Do they wait another year for Ginn to develop ("takes three years for a WR"), draft a top WR or trade for a vet, or FA pickup?

I say a trade or FA. I hope a good one is available. Pay him his money, this is the teams only glaring weakness right now. The DB's are "OK", not a glaring weakness but can certainly use an upgrade over Goodman. Bell is a keeper, and Hill will not be replaced next year but for another Vet, no way a rookie no matter how talented is going to be able to make the calls back there. We already have a "potentially" great free safety on the team, all the physcal skills you would want. Too bad he can' think.

One corner is the kid from UCF #19 - played well has the body and can return kicks. Other is the Safety from South Carolina - Captain Munnerlyn. HIts hard, plays solid and can also return kicks. WR - make trade to Lions for Williams; offer Hagan/ Wilford and a #4; he is leaving at year end any way. They may let him out early.

The next time this team drafts any player under 6-3 as a WR or DB I'm not renewing my 4 club level seats.
5-9, 5-10 and even 6-0 doesn't cut it in the NFL. Players have gotten a lot bigger in the past 15 years, yet this team and 3 or 4 series of GM's and head coaches still haven't figured it out.
It aint the size of the dog in the fight....ala Steve Smith, Santana Moss, Leverneus Coles. It just takes two things our receivers don't have - ball skills and heart
