HAHAHA wrote: How unbeatable would this team be if they had a realistic payroll. Bring back some of our stars that we couldn't afford - Beckett, Willis, Cabrera, Burnett, etc...- and this team would never lose! Not taking anything away from the club that they are now, but if the owners saw what true fans see every time we go to a game, we wouldn't keep losing our best players to the sorry Yankee's or Red Sox. Signing Ramirez was finally a step in the right direction to building a perennial contender. PLEASE DON'T BE CHEAP WITH THE REST OF THE STARS WE HAVE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH Your a hypocrite. Florida suck's, the Nationals didn't come prepared to play. It doesnt matter how many "superstars" you have on your team, you still have to play. You can have David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Albert puhols, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, all on the same team, but its nothing unless you win.You can have all those players on your team and if there 0-17, everyone goes mad because there not winning, you have to have a group of players that can play together.

If you are going to whine about the schedule at least get your facts straight. The Nationals would be a half game behind the mighty Yankees if you remove their games against Florida. Houston, Milwaukee and Pittsburg all look pretty good once you take away their record against the Marlins as well. That strength of schedule everyone was whining about a few weeks ago suddenly doesn't look so bad. In fact, the fish have the ninth toughest schedule in all of baseball as of yesterday. Oh year, they also have have the top spot in ESPN's RPI standings.

Did you participate in President Bush's "No Child Left Behind" education program? Because, clearly, you were left behind. Take another English class, my friend.

Dylan -- just face the fact that your Nationals are going be in the NL East cellar this year and many years to come. Your "opinion" is really just whining because your team is really the one that sucks. You'd be more useful going hunting with Dick Cheney than writing on this message board.

Then again, if my team was in last place, I'd be thinking of some crazy sh** too lol lol lol lol. You suck. and your Washington Expos team sucks too.

No pitching? Please! We have 3 starters on the DL and have very young pitchers in the rotation and we have the best record in the Majors! Did you not see the young pitcher pitch this last week? We also have one of the best bullpens in the Majors! Get your facts straight before you sprout out that idiotic comment. What you must be a Mets fan that are in pain that you have a payroll way over $100 mil and you can't catch us.LOL

I, for one, are super proud of our young Marlins. If they were playing in the new stadium now, every game would be a sellout. When this team plays in an enclosed air-conditioned stadium, great things are going to happen. First place and sellouts galore. Now that Samson, Luria, and Beinfest are paying the big bucks to retain our talent, only great things are ahead for our Marlins. It's not too late to jump on the bandwagon folks. This team is the real deal!!

This team is the real deal!! They underpaid for Hanley, and so now that means we're shelling out the big bucks??? What are you people going to say when they refuse to give money to the rest of the team???
