But realisticly I figure the best the Jets can do is 8-8, which will still be better than whatever the Dolphins do.
8-8 sounds about right. But nowhere good enought to have mortaged the future and get killed with the cap. But as a jet fan you're used to the cellar. Rock on!
can't you just hit the reply key like everyone else? Your posts will come out better.

Well if the Jets are in the cellar I would hate to be where ever the Dolphins are.

Instead they pickup special teams players, that aint our fault. You better have the best special teams on the planet or they should fire Parcells.
NYers have absolutely nothing that I could even be a little jealous of. Now go kiss your fat ugly wife and tell gher how wondeful she looks in her XXXXXL pants suit.

What a sad way for Brett Favre to end his career-on New York's "second team". He must really want to play bad as even with this move the Jets are not in the same class as Pats, Colts, Steelers and Chargers and will be fighting for the last 2 playoff spots against teams like Browns, Broncos, Titans, Bills, and Bengals. The Jets will probably eeck by a couple wins against a young dolphin team causing their delusional fans to blow their load but in a year or 2 they will be right back where they are now-looking for a QB.

<quoted text>I hate to say this but i think you have your teams mixed up..its The Awfulins going 8-8 is the best they could possibly do. The worst the Jets could possibly do is 10-6 equalling thier 2006 mark and playoff appearance.
Anybody thinking the Jets were really a 4-12 last year needs brain surgery. They had a bad year which is good, because they rebuilt the team into a monster. Per New orleans ETC How about the Celtics? Cap money allowed aquisition of Garnett etc plus a good draft..exactly,,that's what the Jets did. I'll be posting after each game the Jets win and watch these people eat thier lunch.
The Jets were a 4-12 team last year Jet Fan! And they will improve this year, but not much. Certainly not 10-6! You are thinking with your heart, not your brain.........I hope! I'll be here each week as well......eating YOUR lunch! You my friend are a true optimist, but thats OK, I'm hoping for a 6 win season out of my Fins!

Im just stooping to your level with your petty little insults, since you cant seem to actually talk about football. You just insult those who dont like your team.

I am a little disappointed myself,Favre choosing to make a few more million, before he retires to his tree stand on a white tail trail sounds more like a liberal, than one of the good old boys, who could be satisfied with a venison sausage sandwich, and a bottle of beer, but thats how some people are.

I hope you Awfulins are much better..i really do..them 40-13 blowouts really suck and we'd like the game to be competitave at least. I hope all the opponents think we're a 4-12 team... that works for me, but i still say the team didn't play to win last year.

The Jets have a QB in Clemens. Farve is there because he was available and he's an improvement over Pennington. Do you disagree with that?
The Jets have had NO PROBLEM Beating the Dolphins with 16 wins in the last 20 games. It doesn't matter who plays QB for that to happen.

Of course they'll continue to look for another QB after this season.

Of course it is I have never thought much about Pennington (unlike you) and I hope he doesnt come here. This is hardly a vote of confidence for Klemens but we'll see how he pans out.

BTW- Its Klemens with a "K" I dont think you want to have anything to do with the Clemens with a "C". Although Rog prob has a better arm than Pennington.

Nope...it's Clemens with a "C". I would think I know my own team...LOL.

There was no vote of confidence for Clemens. That's why the Jets kept Pennington. BTW ESPN is reporting that Pennington may be heading to the Dolphins. This will be fun... just do to the sheer number of Dolfans referring to him as "noodle arm" over the past several years. You have made your point known as well. Let's see if you change your thoughts now. LOL

Read it and weep:

Wh cares!?!? The Jets want him for THIS season. The bigger burning questions are:

Will Bill Parcells retire for the 4th time?
Will Sparano actually coach this team?
Will the Dolphins win a game?

Farve was offered (bribed)$20 million by the Packers to stay retired. He's making $12 million to play. Sounds like the $$ was not as important to him.
