Favre at 38 taking hits from Linebackers 16 years so far, is a bit harder on his body than say a PITCHER in MLB wouldnt you?
I am not saying Favre wont help the jets win 1 or 2 more games than they would have without him, if He stays healthy, But that IF is gtting BIGGER AND BIGGER By the moment.

Pennington was going to be released but the Jets had second thoughts after he renegotiated his contract much lower.
The Jets have a good running game and new and improved O-line. Their receivers are MUCH better than Green Bay's WRs. Plus Farve can always rely on his old buddy Bubba Franks.
1 or 2 games over what? Do you honestly think the Jets will now be 5-11 or 6-10 with Farve? I thought the Jets could win 10 games this season with Pennington. So I'll take 2 more wins.

Yep injuries are a fact of life... who can say that the entire Dolphin team won't be injured this year?

There was no vote of confidence for Clemens. That's why the Jets kept Pennington. BTW ESPN is reporting that Pennington may be heading to the Dolphins. Where's my attack? I'm just hoping he does lousy and does not help the Dolphins. I think he's a very good QB ... and as I've said many times he's better than any QB the Dolphins have put on the field since Dan Marino.
